This is just the prologue

I was Immortal.

                For years, death has never touched me, illness has never claimed me. The great deities of this world feared me. I created them all, the land, the rivers, and the sky. I gave the apes called the humans the greatest gift they ever had, intelligence. But most of all, I finally finished my designs on the greatest living thing on this earth. The perfect organism it was, needing no rest, no energy, nor shelter. It was impervious to pain and never succumbed to hunger. From this description, I present to anyone who sees this letter the perfect organism, the homunculus.

                However, life was not without worries. That homunculus I made rebelled against me, destroying the perfect world the gods have given me. I could not hide the shame inside of me. The gods’ greatest gift to me, that of alchemy, ruined the perfect world. I broke the balance, and my life was taken away. For anyone who felt I was not the one who wrote this, I managed to slip through the Gates of Truth one last time, and together with this letter comes the only way to defeat the homunculus, magic. I managed to bring it to this world, before I was brought back to the Gate.
