Chapter 17

Teddy's POV

I stood there looking at the book, Hilly was against the door. Crying. Honestly I liked it better when she had her tough personality, when she wasn't liked this. 

I tossed the book to the couch and crouched in front of her, I sighed and took her hands from her eyes. They were still tough as could be, which made me wonder if she was still tough as nails on the inside.

"Look at me" I said bluntly, she looked at me and stayed closed to the door

"Just understand that we've both changed a lot, I'm hyped up on pills half the time, lonely as can be, but it seems like I gave up everything for one thing. I got that one thing, but lost everything else, I'm really not trying to sound heartless but I've broken off everything I had before, I don't know how I'd bring it back in my life" I sighed, she started to look a bit irritated in which I chuckled slightly

"You've changed too, always wearing dresses now, married the man of your dreams, you're going good places in your personal life, I'm only going good places in my music career, my personal life died along time ago along with my own mental defence" I looked at her with a soft expression and she wiped her tears from her eyes 

"Tell me something, what made you change and why did you choose music over us?" She asked

"I changed because I was forced to, it just sorta happened naturally. I left because I felt it was the best career move, now I have a music career but nobody to go home to besides my immediate family, but really I made both a good and bad move" I shrugged, she bit the inside of her lip and looked at me

"What does this mean then? Have we lost our friendship?" She questioned

I stood up, "Well, I don't know but what I do know is that I'm gonna be stuck with you guys for a while" I sighed leaning against the back of the couch 

"Why?" She looked at me with watery eyes and I looked up at the ceiling

"Frank and Brian worked out that we'll be touring together, for the full year" I sighed walking off from the couch and into my room 

"Right, John was telling me something about that" She followed me into my room as I started putting clothes into my suitcase 

"They bloody hit it off though, Frank was telling me about how he was having a business meeting with Brian tonight, Frank is bringing me along and Brian is bringing John, it's after we land in where ever we're going tonight" I sighed zipping up my suitcase 

"Sound fun" Hilly smiled 

"Sure" I said sarcastically 

"I should be going then, I guess I'll see you at the airport later" She rubbed her eyes and we locked eyes for a split second, then she smiled and left.
