Pokémon Master in a World of Heroes!

What comes next.

It had only been around an hour, or so Akane thinks, the rain still poured. Akane had one of his Pokémon start a fire for him, Midoriya, and Bakugo, so they could keep warm. The Pokémon in question was Charmander, it made noises of happiness when summoned. It stayed with Akane and the other Pokémon who played out in the rain.

"Your quirk is really cool Akane!" Midoriya said to him.

Akane smiled, this was the first time he had any interaction with anyone his age.

"Thanks, Midoriya," Akane said with a smile, "What about you two? What are your guy's quirks?" Akane asked curiously.

"My quirk is the best of the best! I can make explosions!" Bakugo said as he made small explosions in his palm.

"That's so cool!" Akane said with a smile, and Bakugo proudly smiled.

"What about you Midoriya?" Akane asked him.

Midoriya looked down, "I... don't have one... I'm Quirkless.." he said to Akane, with a frown.

"Yeah, Deku's Quirkless, it's why he's a Deku!" Bakugo said with a small laugh.

"Don't see how that changes anything about him, don't know what deku means but sounds close to Dekiru, so he can do it." Akane said, causing Bakugo and Midoriya to look at him, Midoriya smiled widely at the second part.. "Quirks aren't always good to have.." Akane said, looking into the flames.

"Char?" Charmander said as he leaned into Akane, he smiled and patted his friend on the head.

"Eh? What do you mean, quirks are awesome to have!" Bakugo said.

"Some are really dangerous.. Like mine.. I don't know where or when they will appear, I have 0 control over it." Akane said to them. "So I decided to live out here, with them, So I could make sure no one would have to be bothered by me." he finished as he looked out at his Pokémon playing in the rain, Charmander by his side.

Midoriya nor Bakugo knew what to say, no one said a thing, the only noises that could be heard were the rain, Pokémon playing, and fire crackling.

"Then.. we will be your friends!" Midoriya said suddenly, catching both by surprise.

Bakugo looked surprised, he was going to say no, but he didn't.. "Yeah! We will be your first friends! You should be honored to be a friend of mine!" Bakugo said, Midoriya looked to be caught by surprise as well, and he smiled.

Akane looked at both of them, he felt happy, uncontrollable happiness, he jumped up and hugged them both, "Thank you!" He said.

Bakugo and Midoriya accept the hug, and hug him back. After a few minutes they all separate and start laughing.

"Since you're our friend you need a nickname! Deku is Deku, so you'll be.. Uhh.." Bakugo tried to think. "Deku help me think of something!"

"Eh?! Uhh.." Midoriya frantically looked around and tried to think of something. He finally thought of something, "What about Red? Isn't that what your name means, Akane?" Midoriya said as he looked at Akane.

"I think so, but I have no clue." Akane said to Midoriya with a small shrug.

"Well then, it's decided! Your Red!" Bakugo said with a smile.

Akane smiled with joy, they all hugged and laughed again. While hugging Akane noticed he didn't hear any rain.

Akane stands up, breaking the hug and looks outside the cave, "Hey! It stopped raining!" he said as he noticed it wasn't raining anymore.

All of them went outside, besides Charmander, who stayed inside just in case.

They all looked up and noticed the storm clouds were all past them, it was a bit cloudy still but no rain and the sun shined brightly above.
