3rd Person POV
After those... Unique things that Hu Tao did to Yanfei, Yanfei immediately buttoned her collar shirt back and put her tie back on. Mainly because it was quite embarrassing to feel Hu Tao's gaze travelling to Yanfei's hickey-infected collarbone every now and then. So now, Yanfei and Hu Tao were sitting on their couch, chatting away. It was 8 PM. Only 24 hours until Yanfei had to give the clues to her boss, Zhongli. She used to work with him, until he let her work solo, since she proved herself enough to be a senior detective.
"Hey YanYan?"
"Yes, TaoTao?"
"I'm a little hungry..."
"Ah- want me to order takeout?"
"Yes please!"
"Okay, but what kind of takeout?"
"Hm... I'm craving some steamed fish with a side of prawn dumplings!"
"Alright then, I'll just order tofu."
Yanfei then called for takeout. Her favourite place to order takeout was Wanmin Diner. Mainly because of the hot and spicy food they served. But there was something else— it was Hu Tao's favourite place to eat, so she always ordered takeout from there.
"Wanmin Diner! This is Xiangling! How may I take your order?"
"Hello there. I would like some tofu, and some steamed fish with a side of prawn dumplings, please."
"Okay! That'll be 11,237 mora. Just give it to the delivery guy, yeah?"
"Yeah, okay. Thank you for your service."
"Your welcome, and thank you for choosing to order at Wanmin Diner!"
The call ended. So after that call, Hu Tao and Yanfei decided to talk about some things. Such as how they never would've thought that Dr. Baizhu would ever murder Qiqi. It was unbelievable. As I said before, Dr. Baizhu and Qiqi had the perfect father-daughter relationship. So to think that Dr. Baizhu out of all people would murder Qiqi, would be ridiculous to even consider. After a while of talking, the takeout came, so Yanfei got up, and opened the door.
"Here's your order, ma'am." Said the delivery guy.
"Thank you, here's your payment."
Yanfei payed the man 11,237 mora, then the man left in his delivery car.
"Finally... I'm starving!"
"Jeez, were you that hungry TaoTao?"
"I mean, I already had my lustful fill of food, but yes! I was that hungry."
"What lustful fill— wait a second... H-hey! TaoTao, that's very i-inappropriate!"
"So is moaning every time I left a hickey! Anyways, let's eat!"
"Shut up! *sigh* Fine... Let's eat."
Yanfei's face was pink already. But that pink face of hers faded quite quickly, luckily. Yanfei was gonna take a bite of her food, until Hu Tao said this.
"YanYan, can I feed youu?"
"Eh? What am I, your baby-?"
"Yeah!"
"But— oh... Alright, alright. You can feed me."
"Yay!"
Hu Tao then took the chopsticks, lifted up the piece of tofu, then simply popped it into Yanfei's mouth. Surprisingly, Yanfei quite enjoyed being fed. So Hu Tao adored it for as long as it lasted.
After that, Hu Tao started to eat her food. It was a little cold, but that's alright. Seeing Yanfei enjoying being fed made the food feel a little warm for some reason. Hu Tao was quite the quick eater, because after 4 minutes, she was already finished her food, with no crumbs left.
"How did you finish so quickly-?"
"I'm a fast eater! Also, thank you for ordering takeout for me, YanYan~!" Hu Tao said with an adorable smile.
Yanfei was spiralling. That toothy smile that Hu Tao has could brighten anyones day.
"You're welcome. TaoTao..."
"Hm, what time is it-?"
Yanfei looked at the clock, expressing a surprised face to Hu Tao after.
"It's 10 PM."
"Already-? Heh, time really does go by so quickly."
"Mhm. Now, I wanna sleep."
"But you just had coffee 2 hours ago!"
"Well- my deadline to turn in the clues are tomorrow okay?"
"Aiya... Alright, we can go sleep. Hmph... So early."
"...TaoTao-? What time do you usually go to sleep-?"
"Uh... Around 3 AM, why?"
"TAOTAO! You should really sleep earlier!"
"...Ew. That's boringg... Fine, I'll do it for you YanYan."
"Good. Now, I'm gonna go brush my teeth."
"Wait YanYan- I didn't bring my toothbrush with me! Plus I got kicked out of my house..." Hu Tao muttered the last part.
"...What-? TaoTao! Urgh... Your so lucky I have an extra one. Go use that."
"Ohhh, alrighty!"
They both went upstairs, and brushed their teeth. Then they washed up, because they both smell like outside. For some reason, Yanfei took the longest. But it was because of her ridiculously long salmon pink hair. Huh... No wonder why it looked so smooth to Hu Tao. Both of them then went to bed, with Hu Tao burying her face in Yanfei's nape.
"Goodnight, YanYan~..."
"Goodnight, TaoTao."
Then... They went to sleep, with Yanfei's clue deadline due tomorrow.

Okay so, I filled this chapter with some nice YanTao fluff. Because well- I decided to write the Qiqi Murder Case stuff in chapter 6. Also because, as I said, I still have school. So... Yeah!
