[June 28, 1971] [8:05 AM]
3rd person POV:
"BOY WHERE THE HELL WERE YOU?!" Joseph yelled
Michael stood in his place, not knowing what to do
"Joseph, what's with all the yelling?" Katherine asked, making her way to where Joseph and Michael were
"I just caught Michael sneaking into the house, I noticed he wasn't in his bedroom when i checked, so I came down to see where he was, and that's when I saw him enter the door" Joseph explained
Katherine looked at Michael, a confused look plastered on her face
"Michael honey, why were you outside?" She asked him
Michael didn't say anything, he was too afraid of Joseph's upsetting stare
"Michael?" She asked again, still no answer. Then out of complete nowhere, Joseph grabbed Michaels shirt collar, pulling him close
"Boy, you don't hear your mother talking to you?" Joseph growled
Michael nodded his head, turning his head to face his mother
"I-i was just getting some fresh air" Michael lied
Joseph knew Michael was lying, and Tightened his grip on Michael's collar
"Don't fucking lie to her boy, where where you?" Joseph asked
Before Michael could say anything else, his brother Jermaine came into the living room
"Mother, Joseph, what's going on? I can hear you yelling from my room" Jermaine asked
"Uh-i think Michael snuck out, and your father just caught him sneaking in" Katherine explained
Jermaine let out a chuckle, turning his head to look at Joseph before saying
"He was probably hanging out with the next door neighbors son again, I think his name is...... Prince?" Jermaine said, causing Michaels eyes to go wide
"Is that true? Did you sneak out of this house to go play with the next door neighbor's son?" Joseph asked, clearly upset
"N-no" Michael said quietly
'Why the hell do you keep lying? You probably were with him. What were you two doing? Holding hands? Kissing?" Joseph yelled
Michael could hear his heart beating faster, he obviously didn't want Joseph to know that, knowing how he feels about homosexuality
"N-no, I wasn't with him. I-i was just taking a walk" Michael said, trying his best to convince Joseph and Jermaine
Joseph stared at him for a moment, letting go of his grip on Michael's collar before saying
"Whatever, next time you decide to do that, Tell me or your mother first, don't leave this fucking house without telling anyone you understand?" Joseph said, still a bit upset
"Y-yes" Michael responded
"Good, now go upstairs, because you decided to sneak out, I want you to stay in your room until I say you can come out" Joseph said
Michael did as he was told, and ran to his bedroom
