New Assignment

~Klaus POV~

Before I was given the day off after working hard by putting a couple of crime syndicates out of business, I was told that I was going to be meeting Queen Historia about something secret.

Soon after the war between the Titans and Paradis, I haven't had much of a job. I was looking to settle down and find a girl who would find me attractive, get married, and have some kids, but of course, just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in.

In Wall Sina, I was brought to her majesty's ranch with some fellow MPs.

When we walked to the front door, the head MP knocked the door and out she came, beautiful as ever.

MP: Your highness, Klaus Barthel.

Historia: Mr. Barthel. A pleasure to meet you in person.

Klaus: The pleasure's all mine.

Historia: Please, come in.

We walked in and we sat at a huge table where everyone else was. Let's get down to business.

Historia: So, we looked into Zeke Yeager, and he's definitely not from Paradis. He's from a place called Marley, along with Annie, Reiner, and Bertholt. They've been in on this every 5 years but the problem is that they're limited on titans.

Klaus: Regular or the ones like Eren?

Historia: Like Eren, and there's more than Bertholt, Reiner, and Annie. We've only got the Colossus and the Founding, which are the best we have, but at some point, we must get more information on Marley's military so we can prevent future conflicts with them.

Klaus: What about their military history, Reiner and Zeke?

Historia: They were with Marley the whole time and we didn't let them get away with murdering 201,000 civilians and soldiers combined. This is basically payback for what they've done to us since they infiltrated our military. Anyway, the spies we sent overseas took notes on Marley and the best way to infiltrate their military is to be near their warrior program, which consists a bunch of kids looking to inherit one of the nine titans for 13 years and then the next group of kids and so on. They also have a couple of people called Warrior Candidates and they make up a couple of the nine titans. We found out their names, as well as the people who have the powers.

She passed me a dossier about the names of the titans they have and what their names are.

Reiner Braun - Armored Titan
Zeke Yaeger - Beast Titan
Porco Galliard - Jaw Titan
Pieck Finger - Cart Titan

I saw that was everyone, but there was one Titan missing.

Klaus: Isn't there another one?

Historia: There is, but it's the property of Willy Tybur, one of the relatives of the aristocratic Tybur family in Marley. It's called the Warhammer Titan.

Klaus: Okay. And my assignment?

Historia: You'll be going undercover in Marley's military, but as a guard/soldier for the warrior candidates. The idea is to find out when they're going to attack Paradis again and infiltrate the Warrior Program. That's your assignment.

Klaus: And I'll be sure to do my job.

Historia: Paradis is counting on you, Mr. Barthel. Do not fail us.

Klaus: Not a part of my agenda.

Historia: Good. Keep that dossier with you because you might need it for reminding yourself.
