"But I don't love you anymore. It's over." Vansh stiffened immediately. "What are you saying? This cannot be." Dread was welling inside him after witnessing the truthfulness in her eyes. "I have moved on Vansh. Not only from you but also from a lot of other things in my life. I have realised that we are not good for each other. It will be better for us to part our ways." Riddhima's face held no pain, no fear, no anger , no guilt. He was suddenly jolted into a gut- wrenching reality that it held no love as well. She was so familiar, yet far aloof. "Do you love someone else, now? Was it so easy......" "Moving on doesn't mean, I have to fall in love." She answered immediately. Even as she said this, her mind flashed with evocative meetings with a certain someone. She dared not to let it show on her face. "You are taking your revenge from me, right? You want me to repent. That is why you are being so indifferent." Riddhima shook her head. "I am not. I want peace in my life. I won't waste the rest of my life fighting games of revenge with you." ".........."
A long silence rested between them. Should I leave? I have to reach Sejal. She must be worried. I have my job tomorrow. "Then, I will win you back. I will make you fall in love with me again." Vansh broke the silence. Riddhima sighed. "The only thing that you would do is to waste your time and emotions on me." "Anything that connects me to you can never be a waste." Riddhima looked at the ceiling and brought her eyes back to his determined ones. "Would you feel the same if Siya had never woken up?" "Yes, I never stopped loving you. Even when I thought you betrayed me, I still loved you. I was always yours and you will be always mine." Riddhima closed her eyes in exasperation. "Even when I thought that you were the person that I should hate, I continued loving you, Vansh. But I stopped loving you, the moment you changed. For me, you really died on the day you fell off the cliff . Or maybe I saw the darkness that was hidden inside you too late. I can't love a person that can be so negative, so sadistic, so dominating. Who can be controlled by emotions of hatred upto such extent that.... he sets himself on destroying everything. This is my life. And you or anything related to you is not a part of it."
Riddhima moved towards the door when a gasping dadi entered the room. She eyed Riddhima with distaste. "Vansh, there are people from NGO." "Who gave them the permission to enter?," he inquired. "I don't know, there are three ladies. One of them is Agnihotri's wife. Aangre had to let them in." Vansh rubbed his brows in frustration. "Aangre was trying to call you but you didn't pick....." She glared at Riddhima. Riddhima walked over to dadi and held her shoulders. Dadi almost felt fainting in relief at her smile. Maybe, she has decided to get back with Vansh. That will solve a lot of problems. The media case will be solved and........
Her thoughts were interrupted when Riddhima pushed her aside slightly from the entrance and left the room.
Dadi was dumbfounded. She didn't even get the chance to converge her anger when Vansh followed after Riddhima.Riddhima smiled gleefully as soon as her eyes fell on Roma. She was there for her. She was thankful that she had people in her life who truly care about her and sad because she can only bring them to trouble. Her eyes wandered among the three girls, the cameraman and house servants. I just hope Rajveer is not here. Why is Sejal not here? Where is she? She could have arrived.
Roma's eyes filled with resolve when she noticed Riddhima. She would take Riddhima today with her. She looked around the house for any trace of Sejal. Riddhima hurried downstairs towards them. "What are you here for?" Vansh glanced at the ladies coldly. "For Miss Riddhima. You can't keep her here against her wishes." "May I ask, why you are with them Mrs Agnihotri?" "My husband may have buisness deals with you Mr. Raisinghania, but we do not interfere in each other's affairs. I have been working for women's safety for ten years now and I don't think you will like a court case against you." "Ahem", Riddhima cleared her throat. "Everything is alright. I am going with you. Mr. Raisinghania will not force me here against my wishes." She pursed her lips in a straight line and looked at Vansh blankly. "Riddhima, where is Sejal? " Roma whispered closely to her. "Why? In our home....."
