The Voiceless Man

There once was a man with no voice.

He felt like he hadn't the choice.

He would try to speak up.

But, alas, no such luck.

His wife chose for him instead.

He worked day and night for his wife.

In return, she gave only strife.

He worked hard to please her.

But as good as things were,

She insisted he come on to bed.
