Everything seemed normal. When Elena finally woke up after five or six years after she was put into the sleep coma. Bonnie finally found away of breaking the spell. All Elena wanted was to see Damon. Imagine her surprise when she saw Damon and Bonnie kissing. She walked away slowly. Without making a sound. She went to the grill. And saw Matt. She smiled. "How?" Matt asks. "I don't know. - how long have Damon and Bonnie been together?" Elena asks. "About four years." Matt spoke. Elena gave a nod. " Where is Caroline?" Elena asks. " She is New Orleans. - she finally got together with Klaus." Matt spoke. "About time." Elena muttered. "What are you going to do now?" Matt asks. "I don't know. - I don't think they even realize that I'm awake. - I think I might leave. - Stefan where is he?" Elena now got up to leave. " New Orleans. - he is with Rebekah. - does this mean you are going to leave?" Matt now got off his seat. " Probably yeah. - Ric?" Elena looked at Matt. " He is LA. - he couldn't stay here after everything with Jo. - you." Matt explained. " Where is Jer?" Elena asks. "As far as I know. - he is with Ric." Matt spoke. " Don't go too far. - and come back and visit." Matt said. Just as Damon and Bonnie walked in. " See ya. - I'll be back." And Elena walked out without giving Bamon a second glance.
Elena stood outside the grill for a moment.

Ric and Jeremy had just gotten off the phone to Elena. They were excited to see her. But also felt bad for her. Elena was going to be staying with them for a week before she goes to New Orleans. "She be here tomorrow. - you get to see her then." Ric told Jeremy. "I know. - I'm just excited to see her. - and tell her everything." Jeremy spoke. "You know. - we have to sleep apart when Elena is here." Ric said as he neared Jeremy. " Elena will be happy for us." Jeremy spoke as he felt his heart beat faster. " I know. - she will be. - but I don't Elena to think I'm taking an advantage of you." Ric now kissed him.
A week later
Elena said goodbye to the couple. " Look after each other. - I'll be back. - love you both." Elena gave them both a hug. "Safe flight. - please don't be a stranger. - say hi to Caroline Stefan and the Mikaelson's." Jeremy spoke. "Will do. - I can't wait to see Care and Stefan. - but. I'm nervous about meeting the Mikaelson's." Elena admitted. "All of them have changed. - now go." Alaric spoke.
Later on that day.
Elena now off the plane. Saw Caroline and smiled big. " It's so great to see you." Elena said. "So you and Klaus?" Elena asks. Caroline gave a nod. "He is nervous about you coming. - he won't tell me why. - all I know that he wants to talk to you. - as does Rebekah." Caroline said. " Here I thought I was the only one who would be nervous." Elena joked.

Damon and Bonnie couldn't get over Elena not speaking to them. Even after a week. "You don't think she saw us?" Bonnie asks. "She could've. - that would explain why she blanked us." Damon said. "I wish we knew were she was. - so we can explain to her." Bonnie spoke. " As do I. - we will find her. - just wait." Damon now pulled Bonnie into him.
