Annabeth and I were walking on the beach when we saw a girl playing in the ocean with what looked like a shark. I thought she might be a mermaid but was this fathers mermaid.

"Hello." I say. "Ah!" She screams. "Did we scare you?" Annabeth asks. "No." she says standing up to leave.

I look at Annabeth and in amazement we both realize she might be a demigod, maybe even a Poseidon demigod.

"Chiron!" We both scream as we run into the camp. "Yes." he answers. "We saw a girl in the water playing with..." "sharks." I finish.

"That's not normal. We didn't even find you that way Percy. She would have been caught by now." Chiron replied.

"That's what I said." said Annabeth.

"Let's get her to camp, pronto." He responded. "But how?" I say.

"Go back to the beach

and invite her to a party." Chiron says.
