Beep! Beep! Beep
I roll over on my side and hit the alarm clock with the side of my hand. I push my bed cover off of my legs and step off of my bed. I turn to my nightstand and grabbed my nerdy looking black and blue glasses. I place them on my face and yawn loudly. Moving very slowy, I walk towards the bathroom and glance at myself in the mirror.
Wow! I thought, I look terrible. I stood there and stared at my wavy long hair. It stopped about the middle of my back. I stare at my light brown eyes and light brown skin. I smile lightly and flash my blue and green braces. I study myself. quietly in the mirror until I am interrupted.
"Hurry up!" I hear through the bathroom door. It is Alex, my annoying sister.
"I just got in!" I yell back to her. I then slowly hop in the shower.
After my shower, I brush my teeth, put my uniform clothes on, and place my hair into a neat ponytail with a white bow.
"All done?" my sister asks banging on the door.
I open the door to see her standing there still in her pajamas.
"Took you long enough," she rudely says while pushing me out of her way.
I smell food, so I walk downstairs and see my mother in the kitchen making eggs and bacon.
"Morning, Love." she says, "Ready for the first day of 7th grade?"
"Of course I am," I silently say while grabbing a piece of bacon from the kitchen counter.
"Remember your staying at your dad's house this weekend," she says while walking towards the dining room table.
"I always remeber, Mom," I say.
"Good. Now you better eat before it is time to get on the bus," she tells me while placing my breakfast on the table in front of me.
I eat my breakfast. I walk towards the sink and put my dishes into the sink. Just as I do that I hear a bus pull up around my house, my sister comes rushing down and grabs a slice of bacon.
I grab my bookbag and kiss my mom on the cheek. "Got to go," I say quickly.
My sister and I jogg towards the bus and take our seats.
