Me and my Alex walk up the bus stairs and take our seats. My sister sits near the front next to her boyfriend, Jacob Miller.
I past her and quickly sit in the first empty seat I see in the back. I place my bookbag to the side of me and take out my new book.
I read my book for another 5 minutes until I was interrupted.
I sit and read alone until I am tapped on the shoulder. I gaze up to see a tiny hispanic girl with long curl hair staring at me. She had a strage black spot on her left cheek, bright colored chevron dress on, and had perfectly straight teeth.
She smiles down at me then picks up my bookbag and puts it onto my lap. She then sits down and finally says, "Hi, I'm Emily Ross. I just moved into this town. Is it nice? What grade are you in? I like your glasses."
I stare at her with a confused look on my face until she pauses.
She chuckels and says, "Oh, sorry. I talk a little too much. Sorry. Whats your name?"
I mutter, "Well my name is Jessica. The town is big, but very nice. I'm in 7th grade. Thanks."
She just stared at me for a few seconds before saying, "Well nice to meet you Jessica. I'm in 7th grade too. I feel like we are gonna be good friends."
She then patted my head lightly and chuckled.
I smile and turn back to my book ignoring her, but I then noticed that the bus was already stopped at school.
Emily and I grapped our bookbags and walked off the bus. We both walked into the school doors slowly.
Emily looked towards me and says, "What's your first class.'
I check my schedule and show her.
She pulls hers out of her bookbag pocket and places her besides mine.
It read:
