[Killua POV]
The old man has just started the ball game. Then a kid flies in and tries to grab the ball. It looks like he failed to grab as the old man moves away. I look at the old mans hand and see the ball is gone. The kid who was at the first phase of the exam is dusting himself off. He has medium-long black and white hair. No shirt on and a pair of grey shorts. He starts to introduce himself. He says his name and my eyes widen. The Emotionless Demon huh. Gon introduces himself and me. He says:
"Killua huh... Ah so I was right. Zoldyck right?" Night says.
Seemingly to himself. I am surprised. Not many people know that then again he is a Hunter. I start to analyze him and he seems a little uncomfortable by it. His eyes start to widen and then he starts to fall to the floor and the old man catches him.
"I am sorry but I have to take care of him." The old man says.
Gon looks a little concerned for the boy. I just want to know how he can move so fast. He was faster than the old man. I tell Gon that we should probably get some rest.
[Dream POV]
Night runs faster and faster trying to escape the beast that is chasing him. When suddenly he rounds a corner to find his mother. Her face all twisted to have a grin. Scared the young boy runs past her and further down the descending hallway. He finds his father next with a bloodied knife and see that he cut a smile onto his face. Screaming he continues running. The he enters a room to escape the horrifying creatures. He then finds himself looking at a mirror. In the mirror stood a boy who looked like him but not like him at all. He has darker hair, paler skin and pitch black eyes.
"Look at your final form. This is what you are meant to be" The other version of Night said.
"Th-this can't be. You can't be me." Night says to the other.
"Why do you think you can control both light and darkness? It is because you are the great equalizer." The other Night says without emotion.
"No. I refuse to believe this! I am a normal kid!" Night shouts on the top of his lungs.
[Night POV]
I wake up crying. I don't know why. I can never remember my dreams. So I just wipe my tears off and stand up. I almost fall so I grab onto my bed to stand up. I get used to my body for a couple minutes then go to the gym to get some exercise. When I am done I figure out we are going to Split Mountain as part of the second phase. I get bored and try to find a videogame that Gramps bought a couple years ago. I find it, a game called Greed Island. I also find the console for it and try to play it. After a couple minutes of fiddling around with it I sigh and give up. So I put it in my bag so I can try to fix it later. I grab my bag and try to find Gon and Killua. I find them talking to two other guys. One was tall and very immature and the other was short and mature. Before walking over I try to devise a plan to strike up a conversation. Instead I just walk over and say hi to Gon.
"Oh hey Night!" Gon says with excitement.
He then introduces me to Kurapika and Leorio. Leorio looks mad that they almost became Hunters while Kurapika is staring at me. I get kind of nervous after all his eyes are beginning to turn red.
"Wh-what's wrong Kurapika?" I say kind of nervous.
"Huh.. what?" He says apparently snapping out of his dazed state.
"Hey Kurapika stop scaring the baby." Says Leorio says.
"Do you want to fight Leorio?" I ask
"Sure I was looking to get a little loose before the next phase." Leorio says with confidence.
[Scene Change to Arena in Airship]
"Ready when you are." I say with no emotion.
"Ready." Leorio says.
I take a deep breath. I run towards him and before I hit him I appear behind him. Then I go to his side. Then I move to his left karate chopping his side. then continue to do the same thing. Then I appear behind him karate chopping his neck with so much power that he flies a few feet forward knocked out.
(Think Godspeed Killua but Night)
I turn around and then I slap myself to wake myself up. I take a deep breath.
"Sorry. I didn't mean to be so rough. I honestly thought he would be stronger so I went easy on him to test his level then I got carried away." I say rubbing the back of my neck while smiling sheepishly.
"Teach me how to run as fast as you can!" Killua says to me grabbing my hand.
"Uh.. w-well I just train a lot and try to go my fastest but like I was saying I was going pretty slow." I say nervous.
Everyone looks shocked except Gon he looked kind of excited.
"Then how fast were you going when you grabbed the ball." Killua asked.
"About medium." I reply.
He deadpans.
"A-are you okay Killua?" I ask waving my hand in front of his face.
A voice cuts in :
"We are approaching Trick Tower please get ready to dock"
"Well I have to get ready. I will see you guys during the fourth phase." I say while walking away.
