The Weeping Rose

Chapter #1

Rose was eight years old at the time, she has brown hair and hazel eyes. She grew up in a Christian home, going to church every time the doors were open.         She had a crush on a boy at her church, whose name is Daniel. Daniel and Rose are a half a year apart in age.     Daniel has blond hair and brown eyes. She didn't have very many friends at her church, although she thought she did. You see, she made a mistake on trusting a ''friend'' at her church whose name is Beth, she wanted to get her feelings out, and she thought she could trust Beth, but that was a mistake. She told her, that she had a crush on somebody at church, and she also told her that her crush is Daniel!  She did tell her to not tell anyone, and Beth told Rose that she wouldn't tell anybody, but that was a lie. One day in Sunday School class, Daniel was checking to see if the adult class was done so that they all could come down stairs, for the morning service, and all the other kids were upstairs, watching him, so that they can just come down, and Rose, heard Beth telling somebody else what Rose said NOT to tell anybody!     Rose was heartbroken! She thought that she could trust her, and from that point on, she tried not to trust anybody else with a big of secret as that.       She didn't talk to Beth about it, she just kept it to herself. 

While she was still 8, she liked to give Daniel little gifts, she didn't know if he kept them or not, but she continued to give him those little gifts.          When Rose came up to Daniel to talk to him, he never smiled, in fact, if he was smiling before, when Rose came up to him, his smile, turned upside down. That was sad for Rose, because she really liked him, and she really wants him to like her back. 

When she was alone, she would ask herself what he doesn't like about her. all this made her really depressed, she thought he was saved so she didn't think it could be because he may think she's ugly, because she would think that Daniel would think it's on the inside that counts, but she just couldn't think of a reason why he really did not seem to like her!  Many times, she was alone, talking to herself, asking herself, ''Why does he frown when I come near him to talk to him?'' It made her cry, because she loved him so much and it was really depressing for her, because she thinks he does not like her. 

She was really wondering if she should just try to get over him, because it seemed hopeless, and for a little while, it seemed like she was over him, because she acted like a normal person near him, her heart did not beat abnormally when he was near, she acted the way she does around everyone! She tried to make sure nobody could tell her real feelings. She stopped trying to talk to him for a while. on the outside, it seemed like she had gotten over him, but her heart still pounded when he was near, and she still loved him just as much as before!

A couple years had passed, she still like Daniel just as much as before, when she met this other boy, named, John, who was about a year younger than her, she talked to him a little bit, and found that she and him had a lot of things in common, you saw him every week, because he went to the same library as her. She started to gain a little crush on John, but she was also thinking about Daniel, does she have a crush on two boys now? Is she finally going to get over Daniel? Does she actually have feelings for John, or does she only think that she has feelings for him? 

Rose liked to take little quiz's on her computer, like ''When will you meet your soulmate?'' And, ''Does your crush like you back?'' When she took those quiz's, she had to take them twice, one for each boy that she liked, for a few quiz's she got more positive results for the other boy rather than Daniel. But then some other quiz's were the opposite. She didn't know what to think.

A couple months had passed, and she hadn't seen that other boy at the library, she started to get a worried, thoughts like, 'Where is he?' 'Is he sick?' 'Does he not want to go to the library anymore?' 'Did he move?' 'Is he dead??' raced through her mind, she didn't know why it had been so long and she still had not seen him. Recently she had just about gotten over Daniel, because she hadn't really been thinking about him, mainly because she was thinking more about John.      But since she hadn't seen John at all recently, she started to stop thinking about John, and more about Daniel again.
