Chapter Five

Tobias POV/ Tris POV-

TRIS!!

Oh my gosh!! I must be hallucinating again. Come on Tobias you have to let her go!

But she looks so real. So i touch her arm, she feels real.

Then all of a sudden i see her eyes flutter open. She looks around the room, but when her eyes meet with mine a huge grin spreads across her face.

She quickly stands up and wraps her arms around me, giving me a big bear hug. Im in so much shock, i dont even think to hug her back.

Once i realize whats going on, i squeeze Tris. Thinking that if i let her go, i might lose her again. She seems smaller and weaker now.

Tears begin to form in my eyes, threatning to spill.

"Tris? H- How? I - I saw you die! How could you leave me?" I say with a hint of anger in my voice.

"Tobias... Trust me i didnt want to leave you. I didnt even know what was going on until about 2 hours ago." She says.

"So? What happened?"

"Ok. So after i was shot multiple times, someone took me back to Erudite hospital. They thought i would be safer there. They tried to save me, but-" I say but am interrupted by Tobias.

"Wait! Tried? So you were actually dead and came back to life?" He says, completely shocked.

"Let me finish. After i got shot, they tried to save me but i had lost to much blood. However, my heart was still beating, but i wasnt waking up. They figured i would eventually wake up sooner or later. After about 5 weeks of waiting for me to wake up, the figured out that i was in a coma and didnt know how long it would take for me to wake up. Five years later, today, i woke up." I tell him.

"So after you woke up, they just let you leave?"

"Well... I ummm-"

"TRIS?! YOU CANT JUST LEAVE A HOSPITAL AFTER WAKING UP FROM A FIVE YEAR COMA! NO WONDER YOU LOOK SO WEAK! WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?!" Tobias basically yells at me.

"Its just- I wante- I DONT KNOW WHAT I WAS THINKING!!" I start crying.

"Tris. You need to go back to make sure your all right." He says.

"No, Tobias! I cant go back there." I say, thinking about everything they put into me.

What if they put somekind of death serum in me?

"Tris, their just trying to help you." Tobias tells me.

"You dont get it. Thats where they tried to put me on death serum and kill me. What if some one tries to do that again?" I say with tears still in my eyes.

"Tris, I wont let them hurt you at all. No needles or anything that you feel uncomfortable doing." He says.

"Promise?" I ask.

"I promise." He says.

"Ok, but first can i train a little to get stronger to be able to protect myself?"

"Of course." He says.

"Can you help, like back during initiation?" I ask with a smile.

He laughs, the says, "Absolutely."

"When can we start, Four?" I laugh.

"Whenever you want." He replies.

"Lets go then." I say standing up.

"Ok." Tobias says.

We grab our things, and right as we're about to go out the door, i turn around and say, "I love you Tobias."

"I love you too. Im so glad that i have you back." He says, leaning down to kiss me.

With that, we head down to the Dauntless Training Room.
