Valentines Love

It’s Valentine’s Day and you’ve just woken up to your phone ringing. “Who’s that at this hour?” You mumble to yourself. You reach out and pull your phone charger out then pick up your phone. You look at your phone while your eyes still adjust to the light and you just smiled to yourself only one person could do that to you. “Hello?!” You asked still quite sleepy. “Hello I know it’s really early but I just wanted to tell you that you need to be ready at 8pm exactly.” The voice spoke back to you; you could feel the sense of excitement in the way he spoke. “Okay, but did you have to tell me this early?” You replied slightly annoyed, you wanted to lie in but talking to your boyfriend first thing makes it all okay. “Yeah, sorry I just wanted to make sure you were ready and aware anyways see you later!” He whispered to you. “Bye….” You replied and pushed the end call button. You looked at the time on your phone, there was no point in going back to bed now you thought and got up. You brushed you teeth, washed your face and combed your hair then made your way downstairs…

I was 6pm and you decided to get ready but you had no idea what to wear you have tried so hard all week to find out where you’re going but all Cry says is “You’ll soon see….” So you decided to go for a casual yet smart look by wearing a cream shirt tucked into your high waist velvet coloured skirt, black tights and black boots. You just finished getting ready when your phone vibrated it was a message that said “Come outside I’m waiting J xx”. You grabbed you mini bag and ran out of the door to see your boyfriend leaning against the car the light reflecting perfectly of him making him look like he was glowing. You took a second to admire him before walking up to him and giving him a big hug. “Hey, you look adorable” He whispered to you and then lifted your chin up and gave you a light kiss on the lips. He then took your hand and took you to the other side of the car and opened the door for you. “Before you sit in the car you need to wear this” He pulled out an eye mask from his back pocket… You gave him a confused look but he just squeezed your hand reassuringly. You took the mask, sat down on the car and put it on.

After a journey of waiting for what seemed like forever, Ryan broke the silences by saying “We’re here but don’t take off the mask yet!” You let out a sigh you’ve waited for ages and you have to wait another God knows how long… He got out of the car and opened your door “Here take my hand” “Where’s your hand?!” you giggled moving your hand all around. “Here it is” He spoke in a slightly more serious tone although he seemed a bit nervous you could tell by his hand shaking slightly. “Where are we?” You thought to yourself feeling slightly worried now… “I lead you to where we need to go trust me” He whispered in your ear. “I trust you Ryan” You whispered back scared to make any noise as everything else was so quiet.

After walking for about 5 minutes Cry whispered to you “Stop here and sit down there.” He spoke. “Ryan I can’t see you idiot!” You told him a bit worried. “Oh yeah sorry” He said helping you sit down correctly on the seat.

“Where are you going Ryan?” you asked worriedly.

“I’m going around I’m going to sit next to you silly” He said kissing your forehead.

“See I’m here” He spoke taking your hand.

“Okay I thought you were going to leave me of a second” You spoke slowly.

“I’d never leave you” He whispered planting a kiss on your cheek.

You both sat in silence for a bit when you felt the seat moving up, you started to get a bit nervous and reached up to take of the mask but he just pulled your hands away “Not yet” He whispered. You felt scared and nervous ‘what is going on?’ you thought. 

The chair stopped moving, you turned to face your boyfriend to which you felt two cold hands brush past your face and remove the mask to reveal his loving deep blue and a smile appeared on his face. You looked around to see the dark blue starry night and the sea; you were up at the top of a Ferris wheel with your loving boyfriend and he somehow rented it because there was no one in sight for miles.

“Wow…” You managed to choke out.

“I have something to ask you….” He murmured looking at you worriedly.

“Sure what is it?” You asked nervously and anxiously.

“Well I have loved you for a long time ever since we first became friends and the day you said yes to being my girlfriend I’ve fell for you more and more which I didn’t think was possible anyways…” He pulled out a small black box with shiny grey swirls he opened the box to reveal a beautiful ring with a diamond “Will you do me the honours and be my beautiful wife?…” He whispered to you looking at you nervously.

“Yea-Yes! Of course Ryan I love you!” You spoke really fast full of excitement and joy.

“Thank God I thought for a second you were going to say no” He said hugging you.

“I love you, do you know that I really do” He spoke and gave you the most passionate kiss….
