Hogwards
Hermione Granger looked at her friend, silently withering on the bed. She looked at Madam Pomfrey and other healers going about the room. There were lot of injured people in the hospital. And lot of dead in every corner of this once beautiful castle. So many had lost their life. So many injured. They might have won the war but the price they had to pay was too much. She signed and looked at two beds at far right. The Lupins and Fred Weasley both gravely injured but still alive. All three of them saved by Isabella Black, her little sister in all but blood. She signed and held back the tears as she looked at her best friend who looked heart broken. His only family now lying in a hospital bed fighting the world's deadliest venom coursing through her veins. The image of her bitten by a vampire still engraved firmly in her mind. She had searched all the books regarding vampire transformation. All books stating only one thing no witch or wizard have survived a vampire transformation. Our magic core fighting the venom in our system till our last breath. But they were still hoping that Bella would make it. Afterall her surviving as vampire is better than seeing her dead.
They had called Sanguini, a very ancient vampire for help and he had arrived just a few hours ago. They were waiting for him to come look at Bella.
" Mr. Potter, headmistress McGonagall wants to transfer Miss Black to the heads room where Master Sanguini is waiting for her". They looked up as Madam Pomfrey arrived at their bedside.
Harry signed and slowly got up from the bedside and they both made their way to the heads room knowing that the healer would safely transfer Bella there.*******
"Ah Mr. Potter, Miss Granger, it's a pleasure meeting you," Sanguini greeted them with a small smile on his face. She had met this man once before in a gathering held by professor Slughorn. She had only remember him as an extremely beautiful creature. She observed him carefully. He was tall and bulky and looked to be in his early 30's but she knew that he was more than 1500years old. He had violet eyes, indicating that his sorce of blood came from magical beast than from human. He had pale skin but was extremely handsome.
He suddenly looked up at her and she blushed taking her eyes of him. She heard him chuckle softly but otherwise didn't comment. She looked around the Head's room. I thing this was the one of the places that had not been effected by the war outside as it was still in one piece.
"Mione" Harry called to her softly has he pointed to the open fireplace. She looked at it astonished. Instead of a fire there was a portal to a forest, a forest covered in snow. It didn't look like a magical forest either. Both her and Harry turned to Sanguini question him in silence. Sanguini signed and made a motion for them to sit. Harry looked at her and held his hand out. She took it and he gave her a reassurance squeeze. Sanguini looked at their gesture and smiled. "Are you both magically bonded" He asked slowly. Harry looked at her as they both sat on a nearest chair. Harry then looked at Sanguini standing near the portal "Yes, it's sort of new to us, we were never taught about magical bonding".
