Normally, when I audition for a role, I also audition for more roles in another works. Either if it's a theatre play, or just a small part in a TV show, or in a movie production, i still audition for more.

When I auditioned for the musical a month ago, I didn't have time to audition for other roles and with everything that happened I almost forgot I auditioned for that one.

Not very professional, i know.

I pour my smoothie in the glass and I head outside with my laptop.

I take a seat and Willow jumps on the table.

I haven't checked my emails since I came back from Italy, and I want to hope that when I do, I will see a respond from the director.

And I did.

I had to blink a few times, I had to reread it at least five times and check from who it is so I can react.

My jaw drops on the floor, and my first reaction is to get Willow and throw her in the air, catching her.

"We did it. We did it Willow"

I don't care if it's just a cat. I know she can understand me because she meows back and my eyes build with tears.

Happy tears this time.

I look up at the sky, in the daylight and I smile.

I miss her, I even miss him.

And him.

I hug Willow at my chest and she still has his smell.

I sit down and i reread the email, still find it unbelievable.

Dear Madame Cecelia,

Congratulations on getting the role of Rapunzel in the upcoming Broadway show "Tangled the Musical". You have been selected among many for this part which reflects our belief in your acting skills and suitability for the role.

Please note the below details pertaining to your involvement in the movie.

The email, has information about the pay I will be receiving, the date the rehearsals will start, and will end and also the show day. Conditions and other in the end along with the welcoming sentence.

I clap my hands wanting to scream, or hug anyone who would show up right now.

Even if he was here, I would hug him.

"Guess who's going to Broadway Willow?" I bop her small nose. "We are" I kiss the top of her head.

"We're going to Broadway." i repeat.

When I work, I never work for money. When I decided I would study acting, and have it as my future job, money was the last thing in mind. Okay maybe the second. Because the first was my mother's words. "Never do anything for money. Do things for your heart"

Everyone thinks being an actor in Los Angeles pays a lot. Well, let me tell you, partly it's true. But there are some acting jobs that are literally like robbing. This one for example, the money are not much, because they want to see how the shows will go.

That means I have to look for a job, untill we move to New York, because i'll need to find a place there too.

After I spent half of the morning looking for jobs near me, I found a good one, with a good amount of money, for the next couple months.

Waitress at Olive Garden.

And I thought with my past works, in cafes and restaurants they will accept.
