It was night. Uncountable amounts of torrent are plummeting from the astral, lunar sky above. Watching rainfall crashing down my windows is putting me at ease, despite the gloomy and clogged atmosphere framing me. The rain is gently drizzling onto my window panes, making a quiet tapping noise. I live in the city, so there is a figure passing by my window almost every moment, I just genuinely hope they never make eye contact with me. I don't like confrontations. In all honesty, I prefer to keep myself to myself, I do not trust anyone.
Relief is washing over me, I'm blessed to be able to admire my home, instead of battling such climate. I live alone with my cat Tiger, she is a gorgeous ginger striped tabby, she will never harm a fly, and I mean never. She has a soft stop for these kind of nights too, we have a lot in common. This is why I love her. "Tiger!" I call quietly, I can't resist her delicate, cottony coat. Her paws elegantly tip-toe across my laminated floor, as she catches my eye. "Hello beibi! Have you been to shlof?" I giggle in a welcoming voice. She jumps on my lap and stretches her long luscious legs onto my shoulders. "Tsu gezunt!" I trill at my beloved baby. "Bed time?" I cheer, rising from my slouched position. I guess my biggest priority as of now is getting some rest. New month tomorrow, so I will have to start keeping count of this month on my calendar.
Goodnight world.
