What. What is that? What on earth is that? That isn't what I think it is, right? There is no way. "Who's there?" I shriek. I'm in pure terror of what may be ahead of me. "Come." murmurs the foreigner, the sound reverberates through the emptiness of the room. "What?" I repeat, astounded that the foreigner who seemed as if they were supposedly dead...is now not dead and telling me to come to them? "I don't understand. You didn't reply when I told you to?" I subtly plead for an explanation. "Save it. Come now." they demand viciously. "Okay calm down. I'm coming." I sarcastically chuckle as I wander carelessly down the centre of the room. "Uh, could you maybe speak?" I increase my tone in voice as I inquire. "Yes, follow my voice." they finally reply. Gotcha. I continue to walk to the direction of their voice carefully.
The lights flicker.
In-front of me I can see a sinister man standing there. He looks as if he's holding a gun. But I'm not sure. "Is that you?..." I quiver, my blood curdles and my hands curls into a round fist. "What's me?" the voice answers from another corner of the room.
The lights flicker.
The sinister man is only now closer. Behind the sinister man arches a wide door, screaming 'exit' at me. "That is you! Stop messing around, this truly isn't funny, stranger. You're scaring me now." I relinquish, my heart is beating faster than countable. I just need to get behind that...man? The thing! The thing, I need to get behind it so I can just get out of here. It's some petty joke made by typical men to just pick on us women! Wait til I show them.
"Madam, are you okay? There is nothing there! I'm right in-front of you." alarms the stranger of who seems as if he is disturbed. "There is a thing! There was a silhouette stood scarily behind you. He was tall. He was holding a gun. He also was clearly a male!" I characterise and express that I am not lying to this stranger. I am deadly serious and we need to get out of here as soon as possible. "Ma'am, I'm going to need you to just follow me. I just want you out! You're scaring me." whines the man, he is clearly afraid of me. "Please just get out! Don't hurt me!" he then whimpers.
"I'm not scary? I'm a normal woman who just needs help." I blubber under my breathe. "Yeah, mental help that's for sure." he mirths.
