Kaiden's P. O. V.

We finally made it to the lake party would Sam picked up his friend Miles."Dude are you sure we're invited?" to this party?" Miles asks.

"Oh, my god. Oh, my god, dude, Mikaela's here. Just don't do anything weird, all right?" Sam says as we got out of the car," I'm good, right?"

"Yeah, you're good."

"Okay.", Sam said. When we walked up by a tree, I just stared at Miles who walks the the tree as he started to climb it I shook my head at him.

"Hey, bro that car its nice." Trent said." Hey!"

We just completely ignored him until he walks up to us." So what are you guys doing here?" He asks.

"We're  here to climb this tree." Sam says

Trent then said, "Yeah, yeah that looks fun. I think I recognize you. You tried out of the Football team last year, right?" I remember that Sam was trying out for the football team that day.

"No, no that wasn't a true tryout. I was distracted by a book I was working on."Sam replied

"Yeah? What's it about? Sucking at sports?"  Trent ask and chuckle Sam give a force chuckle as I walk up right next to my brother.

"No, it's about the link between brain damage and Football."  I said

continued, "No, it's a great book. Your friends'll love it. You know, it's got mazes in it and, you know, little coloring areas, sections, pop-up pictures. It's a lot of fun." I said glaring at him.

"That's funny." Trent replied sarcastically and was about to come up to me until ,Mikaela quickly got in front of him and said""Okay, okay. You know what? Stop."

I look at her as she looks at me telling her thank you which she nodded Trent look at his friends and said  "Hey, guys, I know of a party. Let's go, let's head." As they went off Sam glared at Miles and said. "You got to get out of the tree right now. Get...Just get out of the tree right now, please." He got off the tree and I said." What are you doing?"

"Did you see that dismount? All the chicks were watching."Miles replied.

"You're making me look like an idiot. We both looked like idiots just now," Sam said as we headed to the car I got in the back of the seat as then I heard the radio turn on playing.

"Who's gonna drive you home, tonight?"

I couldn't help it but to chuckle and shook my head." Hey, man, what's wrong with your radio?" Miles asks Sam.

"What do you think he's gonna give Mikaela a drive." I simply replied.

"What? She's an evil jock concubine, man. Let her hitchhike."Miles said.

Sam just said, "She lives 10 miles from here, okay? It's my only chance. You got to be understanding here, all right?"
"All right we'll put her in the back with Kai I'll be quite." Miles say I glared at him.

"Did you say, 'Put her in the back'?", Sam asked him in disbelief

" I called shotgun."

"Miles, I'm not putting her in the back. You got to get out of my car right now." Sam said.

"That's a part foul," Miles said.

"What rules?"

"Bros before hos." Miles answered.

"Miles, I'm begging you to get out of my car. Okay?"Sam said.

"You can't do this to me.", he said. Sam then said, "You got to get out of my car right now." As Miles finally got out of the car Sam looks at me." I won't saying anything I will be just on my phone." I said and grabbing my phone and suddenly fall asleep few minutes I woke and look up as I see Mikalea who was already in the car who got out of the car and went to the front of the car then came to the car and reached for her purse she saw me." Oh hey Kai." Mikaela said
"Sup, Mikaela." I said but confused what's happening I saw my brother came up to the car and got into the car I ask what happened he started to explain to me what happened

"Oh, god, no, no, no, no, no, no. Come one, please. Please, you gotta work for me now. Don't let her walk away. Come on, come on, come on. Please, please." All of a sudden the car engine started and started to play a song on the radio  "Baby Come Back"

Skip Time

As we were now at Mikaela house "So, you know, thanks for listening."she said.

then  Sam said, "Oh, yeah, yeah."

"You... you think I'm shallow?"

"I think you're ...no, no, no. I think there's a lot more then meets the eye with you." Sam said.

"Smooth brother very smooth." I  thought.

"Alright, I'll see you guys at school." Mikaela said and got out of our car and headed to her house.

"Stupid line. That was a stupid line. 'there's a lot more then meets the eye with you.' Stupid." Sam said.

"Oh, god. Oh, my god. I love my car." Sam said.

"You mean our car Sam?" I said he just completely ignored me as we now headed to our house.
