Violet put her head down and sighed. "I swear," She sighed. "Sometimes it's hard to be the oldest out of these insane Eeveelutions."
"What do you mean, Vi?" Leafblade asked.
"I mean you guys are a pawful and I don't even think I could take care of Shadow and Winter together." Violet responded.
Leafblade's amber eyes widened. "Goodness no! Lance, Shadow, and Winter would be even worse!"
Violet nodded.
Leafblade then looked at Violet, sympathy in her eyes. "You know," She started. "You don't need to feel responsible for us. We are all in the same age group and can take care of ourselves."
Violet nodded. "I suppose you're right," She mumbled reluctantly.
Leafblade gave Violet an affectionate lick. "We are all fine, Violet." She told her. "We are all fine."
Violet could only hope that was true.
The others seemed so... vulnerable to her.
Violet was still having trouble adapting to the life of a Pokémon, somehow. She had been an Espeon for so long. But then again, she had just recently started struggling again. She was eighteen, six in human years. Why was she struggling?
Violet had a secret. She in fact, was not a Pokémon by birth. Not an Espeon by birth. Not an Eevee by birth. Not even an Eeveelution by birth.
