Larry pov

I was walking with Sal back to the apartments after school, Ash had come back and looked pretty frustrated, we tried to ask her about it but she wouldn't respond. Someone must have royally pissed her off.

As we got inside the apartments, Sal gave me a hug and we both said goodbye and went our separate ways. Him to his apartment, me to the basement. Once I got inside, I shouted out for Mom.

"Mom! I'm home!" I said as I waited for an answer.
Nothing. That's fine, she must be working late again, looks like I'm making dinner tonight.

That's when I remember I've gotta clean my room, shit! Mom's gonna kill me if she finds those cigarettes!

I rush into my room, and start cleaning everything, making sure that I put the cigarettes in a place, mom would never find them, just then I bumped into a box on the floor.

"Huh, isn't this the box with shit from when I was a kid?" I ask myself. I sit down and open the box, feeling slightly nostalgic. Inside I found all my old toys, the trucks, the action figures, everything. Then, I came across something interesting. It was a handmade ring.

The wires were rusted, and the ring was kind of falling apart, but the little stone was still intact, an amethyst. Even after all these years, not one crack, it was still as beautiful as the day I'd received it. Wait a minute, when did I receive it? And from who?

That's when I remembered, I know who this is from, I know who gave this to me, I've known him for years. . .

Flashback

3rd pov

"Where are we going?" Asked Larry as he followed the unknown boy holding his hand, leading him towards the woods.

The little boy gives a small smile, and says: "You'll see.", He continues walking towards the woods, going deeper and deeper.

Larry anticipated with what this boy was going to show him, held his hand tighter. As the boy kept leading him into the woods, they came across a very familiar wooden hut, which looked like it would fall apart any minute.

"Our hideout?" Asked Larry, confused as to why the boy had brought him to such a known place. The boy just smiled and signaled Larry to wait outside the wooden hut as the boy quickly ran inside.

The boy ran out just as quickly as he had run in, but this time, he was carrying a small little box. The boy ran to Larry with the box, as Larry watched him.

"What's that?" Asked Larry as the boy showed him the little box, it was a carved box, with a faded picture of angel wings on it, it also had a key hole but it had probably been opened, because he opened the box with no effort.

"It's a gift, for you, mama helped me make it!" Said the little boy excitedly, as he pulled out a small ring with an amethyst stone on it. It was homemade no doubt, but it was beautiful, you couldn't find anything like it in a store.

"Woah! That's so pretty! And it's for me? Thank you!" Said Larry as the boy placed the ring in his hand, Larry picked up the ring and put it on his pointer finger, and stared at it in admiration.

The boy smiled as he pulled out another ring, the same as the one that was given to Larry, and put it on his finger. "Look, I made another one, now we match!" Said the boy.

Both boys looked at the rings on their fingers, and then looked at each other, not knowing what to say. But there was a sudden reaction from Larry, he blushed as he realized the context of the rings. Did this mean what he thought it meant?

"D-does this mean we're engaged?" Asked Larry.
"I don't know, why?", Said the boy.
"Well, mom said that people only give each other rings of they plan on getting married soon", said Larry lowering his head, trying not to show his embarrassment.
The boy looked at Larry confused, but then smiled.
"Ok", he said, with no hesitation.
Larry shit his head up and looked at the boy, stunned.
"What?"
"Sure, if that's what you want, we'll be engaged, we can get married when we're older." Said the boy.
Larry blushed, and hugged the boy tightly. The boy hugged back returning the affection.
Under his breath, Larry said something he knew was no longer a surprise.

"I love you Travis."

End of flashback

"Huh", Larry thought, a slight red forming on his face. So that's who it was from.

Larry smiled and put the ring on one of his fingers, two small to fit him completely,

"Travis, you bastard!" He said with a laugh as he lay down, thoughts of the blonde boy filling his head, slowly, but in a way that was beautiful.

Summer!! That's why this parts so delayed, I'm sorry! But I started to run out of ideas! But here it is, I'll do my best to get the new chapter out soon!
