Delgado Residency, November 2, 6 am

"That's the last box." Scarlett stares at the clock above her bed. It was almost 6:10. She hadn't got an ounce of sleep. But she was okay with that, until she actually slept and never wanted to get up. 'Sleep is for the weak.' Something her father always told her before he'd send her out to finish a task, with zero sleep. She was 13.

"If you head out now you'll make it there by 6:30-6:40." Antonio does the mental math, making sure she won't be late again.

"I'm gonna go pick up a stack or two at the warehouse on my way."

"Weed?"

"Yeah, and maybe a kilo. They're addicts. I could even double my price and they'll still buy. Too easy." Scarlett grabs the box she placed down and walks out the house and to the car, Antonio trailing behind.

"Alright. Just make sure the Hessians don't get pissed about you outselling them."
"It's not my fault those pendejos get high on their own shit." Scarlett places the box in her backseat.

"Make sure to buy some groceries too, I don't need you getting high without snacks."

"I was planning to anyway. Am I really Scarlett Delgado without brownies?" They laugh in sync as Scarlett gets into the car.

"I'll miss you Scar." Antonio states leaning into the window.

"Don't worry, I'll still call you whenever I can. When I come back, the Red Roses better still be intact." Scarlett starts the car. "Have fun with Valentina." Antonio stares at Scarlett in shock as she drives away, a grin plastered on her face.

Lins office, 7 am

Scarlett pushes open the door, and Lin turns around, noticing her hair.

"Glad you can make it Scarlett." He stops and shakes his head slightly. "Figured you'd take my order out of context."

"Well I did need a change. This felt like the best route." Scarlett smiles smugly.

"Your uniforms are already in your room, but knowing you I can assume you brought your own." She nods her head, already bored of his voice. "You have until the start of second period to settle in." Lin hands Scarlett a class schedule. "It's the same as Marcus so you can keep watch on him. And remember that he's your pledge so-"

"Whatever he does, also affects me." She finishes his sentence.

"-And Saya. We won't forget about your contract." She just nods her head, not paying attention to a thing he's saying. "Good. We have an understanding. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a class to teach." Lin walks out of his office.

She stares at the schedule and nods, thankful to be missing Lin's class.

After half an hour she was able to move all of her stuff into the large room. The groceries she bought, sitting calmly on the kitchen counter. She was glad she got the mini apartment.

The room was huge, having its own bathroom and tiny kitchen. The room had a large bed, set in the middle, a desk sat in the corner farthest from the door, beside it, a large windowsill that gave a mediocre view to the outside. A quite lavish tv on the other side of the bed. The closet in front of her bed adorn mirrors instead of normal doors.
Scarlett sighs content with what she's done. She looks at the clock and grabs some uniform clothes, rushing towards the shower.

She dries her hair as quickly as possible, styling it to its fluffy, curly self. She grabs a short-sleeved button-up and an argyle sweater vest that's red, navy blue and black. She also loosely tied a black-tie above the oversized sweater vest. The sweater vest covered most of her black skirt, only a little of the skirt peeking out below it. She strapped her knives on the shorts below it, some weed, and some bandages, just in case. She places all of her rings and necklaces on, laying only a few on, not overdoing it. To top it all off she wore black knee-high socks and her chunky mary jane docs.
