Chapter 1: Revilations

It was a day almost like any other to Kuga, him and Osamu were preparing Chika for the coming invasion from what they could tell with Replica's map the invaders were likely from Aftokrator. Despite the panic that filled them they have more than enough trust in Jin-san's side effect.

All of Tacoma was enjoying a nice peaceful night before the large-scale invasion occurred himself Osamu, Chika, Usami, and Reiji were enjoying a movie and some snacks the others had already gone to sleep by this time once the movie ended himself Chika and Osamu, bid Uami and Reiji goodnight before heading up.

"I know Jin-san can be trusted but even so, this is intense" Osamu stated "A force larger than five years ago, I mean Border has come far since that time and I have complete faith in our Senpais' but..." The remaining this is still too much left unsaid

"I-I know but we still have to help, like you said Osamu-kun Border's come far and so have we, It'll turn out ok I know it" Chika supplied trying to lift everyone's mood

"That's true, but you know Osamu he's a sucker for those in need" He states prodding at Osamu's side "He's probably just worried about us =3="

The three of them continue their banter and chat until Chika and Osamu reach their rooms. Kuga true to form makes his way to the roof to go over the day alongside Replica.

A few hours later Kuga notices someone leaving the base "That's odd, its close to midnight I thought everyone was asleep by now"

"That's true, we could follow them, but the decision is your to make Yuma" Replica replies in turn

The two make their way out of the base spotting Usumi and Reiji still awake "Shinori-san did someone leave just now?"

"Hmm, I think Osamu just left maybe he couldn't sleep" She adds

"I don't think so, Osamu wouldn't just leave like that, I'm going to follow him can you keep an eye on us in case I lose him?"

"We both can, but don't crowd him it may just be a nightly walk alright" Reiji replies taking a sip of tea from the cup Infront of him.

With that Kuga nods and makes his way out, catching up to Osamu near the edge of the city, the two continue following him until he turns into an alleyway "That's odd, from what I can see up here he seems to be placing something" Replica informs him from their high position, the two wait and watch for a few minutes until Osamu makes their way out of the alley and continues further into the city.

"Replica can you follow him I'd like to look at what he placed"

"Affirmative Yuma" Replica responds as a mini clone makes its way next to him

As Kuga got closer the device was familiar to him, but he couldn't put a finger on it, The top like a purple eye on a wide metal cylinder. "Shinori-san are you there?"

"Yes, we're here Kuga, what's wrong? You and Osamu stopped moving for a few minutes back there." Shinori's voice came through the comms

"Me and replica spotted Osamu putting these odd devices down, every time he puts one down Replica will let you know, can you mark them for me please."

"Of course, Replica has already let me know about another device, are you coming back to base?"

"I will, I'll bring one of those devices back too"

As he begins making his way back to Tamakoma, he can't shake the feeling he's seen this device before but no matter how much he thinks he just can't figure it out.
