I was reading in our bed when my mom came in. 

"Hey baby..I brought you some stuffies! Here's a bunny, a kitty, and little puppy!" She told me while sitting. I smiled and hugged her. She ruffled my hair and pulled them out. The dog was an orangey color, the cat was black, and the bunny was white. (Norman, Ray, Emma anyone?) I hugged all of them and eventually fell asleep. I felt something cold on my chest, and realized my mom was rubbing a breathing oil on me. I was about to yell when I felt a sudden urge to sleep again. I went back to sleep.

I woke up to a dark room, and Norman sleeping next to me, his back facing me. I looked at the deeply scarred back. I frowned and rubbed my eyes. I got up and went to the bathroom. I felt nauseous, so I sat in front of the toilet. I felt the sudden urge to puke and violently vomited into the toilet. I flushed it and brushed my teeth. I laid back down carefully and hugged Norman from behind. I felt like I was punched in the gut multiple times..heh...kinda like middle school..

~dramatic flashback~

"HAHA! WHAT'RE YA GOIN' TO DO NERD?" One of the kids yelled. He pinned Ray to the wall and kneed his stomach. Ray couch bed up blood and fell to the floor. One of the, stepped up and kicked Ray's leg. Another dropped a rock on his arm. Ray screamed out in pain, while others began to notice. Everyone was whispering stuff when a teacher walked by. 

"What's going on here. Explain!"

"R-Ray was trying to cheat during a test..so...so...he attacked us for not allowing it an...d we defended ourselves.."

"Is that so?"

"Yeah!"

"No. No it's not." Someone yelled from the crowd. Ray looked up, and sighed out ofreleif, but his arm throbbed. "I was watching the whole time. In class, these guys asked Ray the answers, and Ray denied, so they met him here and beat him up." 

"That's...that's so not true!"

"Is it? Or do we need to check the cameras there, there, and there?"

"F-fine..whatever..." the girl walked up to Ray and gave him her hand. She smiled sweetly and Ray took it. 

"I'm Emma. I notice you don't talk a lot, and the teacher always says how good your grades are. So I decided to watch when that gang asked for answers." Ray nodded and winced in pain. Emma helped him to the school nurse, and she decided to call his mom. His mom came in and took him to the hospital. He ended up getting a cast on his arm. The next day, Emma immediately signed his cast. She offered to help Ray it's his school work since they had all classes together. They became "siblings" that day. And ever since that one day in 7th grade, they were best friends.

~dramatic flashback ended~

I kept coughing, but Norman was asleep. I went to a corner and grabbed my phone. I kept on coughing, and called Emma. 

Emma(^з^)-☆: Yeah what's up Ray Ray?

Ray ✌︎('ω')✌︎: I..I need some help..

Emma(^з^)-☆: With?

Ray ✌︎('ω')✌︎: I'm really sick and I don't know what to do..do I hide it and continue all the chores and when Norman  isn't looking, I just be sick?

Emma(^з^)-☆: What?! No way in hell! Just tell him that you aren't up for anything!

Ray ✌︎('ω')✌︎: I...
