The music was loud, very, very loud. It was different I guess, I never really go to these things because I'm pretty much a loner. I like bands, real bands. Not shitty boy bands like One Direction or Emblem 3, and I'm calling them shitty because they are assholes who get what they want, get money, and leave. I feel bad for all the girls that love them so much, because they mean nothing to those bands. But anyways I like the small bands, one with a small fan base, I feel like it means more to the band if that even makes sense. And why the hell am I here, in Erica Lawley's house? Well you can thank my best friend for that one. Her name is Emily Anderson say I don't even know why we're friends because we're so different. All I have to tell you is that she's on the cheerleading team and you already know how different we are.

But this music, this fucking party. I don't want to be here, she dragged me here, begged me to go. I was getting tired of listening to her whine about this damn thing so I went. Now I'm sitting in the corner listening to the shitty music they are playing. I'm watching Big Breasted Becky run by me and over to another set of boys that will drop anything to touch her boobs, literally. I'm watching Michael Clifford do the sprinkler with Calum Hood in the middle of the dance floor. They are cool I have to admit, they are in a band with a kid that doesn't go to our school, his names Ashton I think. Oh an I can't forget about Luke, Luke Robert Hemmings. Where the hell do I even start. I'm not one to have crushes, but Luke, I've liked him since 2nd grade when we're were in music class and I couldn't figure out how to place my hands on the Guitar and he helped me. Weird right? Kinda like in the movies, well it sucks, it fucking sucks.

I'm friends with Calum and Michael, they talk to me and I talk to them. But when Luke's around I kinda go silent. Like someone suddenly glued my mouth shut, so I try to avoid him as best as I can.

"HEY!" I looked to my left where the dance floor is and saw Michael waking and screaming at me and I giggled, "RILEY! COME DANCE" I shook my head, my laughter raising a bit louder so I'm no longer giggling but I'm also not cackling and rolling around on the floor like a retarded seal. Wow I think I took that a little to far.

Michael waved me over some more, bouncing up and down to the beat of the (awful) Taylor Swift song that was booming from these (awful) speaks spread around the lounging area. I had caved in and got off my comfy stop on the couch, sighing and slowly making my way over to the audit that has now slipped on some beer and knocked Calum over while falling himself.

"Dude, really? Why did you grab onto me for support" Calum groaned and I laughed offering him my hand.

"Wow, I'm sorry," Michael dragged on "I'm not going to grab onto a stranger. You're my friend, if I'm going down, you're going down with me" I laughed at that one and then offered my hand to Michael who gladly took it.

"Well, most of the people here aren't strangers you idiot. They go to our school" Calum snickered and Michael just huffed and rolled his eyes.

"Aren't you boys quiet the crowed to hang out with." I smiled at the both of them and they chuckled.

"You know it Riles" Calum giggled at my nickname and obviously used it because it bothers me so damn much, but all I did was roll my eyes.

"Well I-" I was cut off by a familiar voice behind me.

"Hey guys, I saw you're little fall and am upset I didn't get it on video" Luke snickered from behind me and I tensed.

"Shut up, Luke. Remember is you're kitchen when you ran to get you're dog a treat and fell because you're mum just washed the floor and told you to be careful, what? 5 minutes before." Calum laughed at Michaels response and I giggled quietly, picturing that in my head.

Luke groaned and was about to speak when First Dance by NeverShoutNever came on and I smiled widely, "Anyways, I came over to ask Riley if she would be willing to dance with me?" Luke tilted his head slightly, biting down on his lip, taking the metal ring into his mouth and letting it go again.

Michael and Calum looked at me, hopeful eyes that I would say yes. Which obviously I'm going to. I'm just to shocked to really do anything at the moment.

"Well?" Michael asked and I nodded my head turning around to face Luke, having to look up considering he is about 7 inches taller then I am.

Luke smiled at me and took my hand leading me over to the corner of the dance floor.

Okay! So Hai guys! This is my very first story on Wattpad but I've written a lot on other sites haha. First I want to start off saying sorry if it's bad... I haven't written a Fanfiction in a long time and I started thinking today "Man I wanna write one" SO HERE IT IS! And another thing is I'm writing on my Phone or IPad so I apologize for any spelling issues or anything. I'm going to try to update as much as possible but I have school and Im just one of those people who get like lazy and procrastinate as well so if people say they want more I will defiantly keep writing.

That's all for now! I hope you guys enjoy the first chapter! And I apologize for it being short! Haha.
