When Sakura was three years old she fell into a 7ft swimming pool and discovered that she could breathe and talk underwater, she had attended this pool party with her parents while they were out of the village, due to their Haruno status as famous merchants. It was apparently one of their rich customer's birthday party for his daughter and since they had been close with the customer they had been invited. She wouldn't forget her parents tears when they thought she drowned, or how her father dived into the pool despite not knowing how to swim.
When she had been four years old, she had been bullied and called a vampire with a huge forehead. And then Ino Yamanaka came to her aid and helped her. Giving her the boost of confidence the shy pinkette had that hid away her fire.
She had been five years old when she stood up for someone for the first time. Naruto Uzumaki was being called a freak, monster and murderer as he was kicked- literally kicked out of a store. She saw red and felt a miserable familiarity in the situation so she stepped away from Ino's side and shielded Naruto from a punch, the punch landing on her face instead.
She then proceeded to yell at the older man who punched her about growing up and stop punching little kids on the street. Before the situation escalated, Ino had grabbed her arm to run away. And somehow, Sakura managed to rope Naruto into it too. They became friends shortly afterwards.
Just a few months after that, she again stood up for someone the second time around. And there was no Naruto or Ino beside her to stop her from going on an all-out brawl with kids twice her size as they picked on the Hyuga heiress, which would not be happening anytime soon if Sakura had a say about it.
She had managed to talk to the heiress a short amount of time, just enough for the pale eyed girl to apologize too much and for her to give the girl her name. An older Hyuga came looking for Hinata, which cut their introduction short. She hadn't met the heiress in a long time, but they had became friends right away when the academy started.
The heiress apparently has a crush on her oblivious blond friend, Naruto. For some unknown reasons.
And then she was six years old when someone told her "What are you going to do about it, vampire forehead? Bite us?" and "Yeah, seaweed bitch, what you gonna do?" when she stood up for Choji Akimichi when the shy timid boy was being bullied for his size, which was ridiculous because not only was Choji cute and kind, the Akimichi clan was already known for their size so the argument itself is stupid.
It's like saying that the Hyuga and the Uchiha clan had doujutsu and tried to make it an insult. Oh wait, they do that.
Anyways, she had been six at that time when she said "You want a fucking vampire? Fucking fine!" and then she bit the upperclassman, hard. His blood did not taste good, and so did his shriek did not sound nice.
