Chapter 4
“AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!” Bailey screamed as she hugged/tackled me in the airport. Her cute little run always made me laugh. I was giggling as she hugged me. This is the day we’ve been waiting for. This is the day when we can truly start living our lives.
Even if it is only for a few weeks.....
But we don't think about that.
Our families were there and some students from our school to wave us goodbye. Let me just say that bailey and I felt like celebrities. Tons of people waving goodbye, some crying (just our parents but hey…), and some even FANGIRLING!
That's right.
People were fangirling over us.
Bailey and I where ecstatic! We couldn’t believe it.
Soon, too soon but not soon enough, we got onto the plane. We stood there at the top of the ramp waving our hands like models. The wind was blowing in our faces and we where feeling hot.
When we got on to the plane we just slumped down into our seats. Our “fans” had exhausted us. Constantly hugging us, yelling our names, and taking pictures. After a few minutes we were back to normal again. FANGIRLING! This is amazing! We were on our first destination to Paris. Let me just say this one more time. PARIS! BAILEY GOLD AND KYLIE HOWARD ARE GOING TO PARIS!
Not Paris, Idaho.
Not Paris, Texas.
PARIS, FRANCE.
The Paris with the Eiffel Tower.
The City of Love.
The Paris where the Pixar movie Ratatouille was set.
PARIS!
I just can’t even.
I looked over at Bailey who had just finished putting her stuff in the storage. Our eyes met and we both gave each other a raised eyebrow look. Then we both started to squeal. But then the old fart in front of us turned around and said, “If you girls want to survive this 8 hour flight you better shut your gums or I’ll come back there with my cane and thunk you both on the head!”
We laughed, somewhat quieter.
And then we heard whispers coming from the front of the plane.
Was that?
No. It couldn't be.
Is it?
OH. MY. GOSH.
