~Mayumi's PoV~
I sat on the couch reading a book silently along with Itachi who was sitting beside me. Deidara and Tobi arguing at something stupid probably, Hidan was outside doing his sacrificial for Jashin, Kakuzu counting his money as always, and Sasori fixing his beloved puppets. The others were probably out doing missions or Pein is doing paperwork in his office.
How rude of me, I have not yet introduced myself. I am Mayumi Hatake, the Copy Cat Ninja, Kakashi Hatake's sister. I am also the White Tigress of the Leaf since I have 12 tailed white tiger demon sealed within me. I have long curly silver hair that reaches below my bottom and the same onyx eyes as Kakashi.
Why am I in the Akatsuki? Well, I joined because Lady Tsunade assigned me to this S-ranked mission. Many in the village thought that I have become rogue because they saw a picture of me in the Bingo Book, me wearing the Akatsuki cloak and a slash mark across my hitai-ite. Kakashi was of course was greatly disappointed at me but I have to do this, for the safety of the village and the people.
It has been already exactly 3 years of me joining the Akatsuki. They believed the story that I made up, about me getting sick of being mistreated and everyone calling me a demon or a monster. The white tiger was sealed within me by our mother, she sealed it in me after I was born. She was the former host of the powerful 12 tails and died to protect and seal it in me. Of course the Akatsuki knew about it also. Though they didnt plan to take it away from me.... yet. They need me, the host of the 12 tails, to hunt down every Jinchuuriki and take them. If we have succeeded on taking all of them, I will be the last one to be taken.
Which is why I am trying to find as much information as I can about their plans and about Orochimaru and Sasuke. Though, I didnt get that much, but whenever Tobi goes to Pein's office by himself, they will talk about their plans. I was still suspicious about Tobi, his voice wasnt loud or obnoxious when he is in Pein's office, it was very deep that gives you shivers and so dark. I must find about it immediately though I need to be extra careful because Tobi wasnt to be underestimated, he can feel someones presence almost immediately.
"Mayu-chan is way more prettier than you Dei-senpai!" Tobi exclaimed VERY loudly and giggled making Deidara grit his teeth and a vein pop out of his forehead.
"I'm not a girl, un! I'll-" Deidara was about to throw clay birds towards Tobi but I stopped him in a blink of an eye. I sighed.
"Dei-kun, Leader-sama will not be pleased when you explode the whole base again. And also, Kakuzu." Deidara grunted and began mumbling things to himself.
"Mayu, its time." Itachi's deep voice was heard behind me. I looked at him over my shoulder, he snapped his book shut and stood up. His blood red Sharingan eyes gazed into my onyx ones and I nodded.
"Tobi wants to go with Mayu-chan in a mission!" Tobi clung to my leg like a child would do and didnt let go when I try to shake him off. I sighed and agreed.

Our mission was to get the bounties as usual when we have not found the Jinchuuriki. Itachi threw the dead body to the man who holds the money for the bounties. He inspected it first then gave us the bag of money. We then started walking back to the base with Tobi jumping and singing around us.
I glanced at Itachi, his blood red Sharingan eyes staring straight at the dirt road. I sighed and slightly frowned. I have to admit, I have fallen for the Uchiha and I believe he will never like me back for he only cares about his little brother and nothing more. I was hurt about knowing this of course. But, I cannot have a relationship with one of the criminals, I only joined to complete a mission from Lady Tsunade not to have an intimate relationship....
