Arilo looks around the town which now doesn't look like a firey tornado of hell blew by as he walks up to Araka sitting on a fallen log and looking at the ground.

"You alright?" He said concerned

Araka looks up at Arilo.

"I dunno, so many were lost yet we saved so much more, and here I am still feeling sad we couldn't save them all" her voice choked up a bit

Arilo then takes a seat next to her and wraps his arms around her rubbing her back softly and looking at the ground behind her as he hugged her.

"We did lose so many, but the elder doesn't have to suffer anymore, we saved them, we may have lost a lot but like you said we saved so many more, so focus more on that than death." he lets go of the hug as Araka wiped some tears off her face and nods.

"We should get going, The Central City shouldn't be far from here."

Arilo nods as they say their goodbyes to everyone in the town as they walk up to the elder.

"We best be off," Arilo smiled as the elder looked at the two, slowly yet gracefully she bowed down onto one knee holding her staff in front of her closing her eyes and bowing her head.

"Thank you Arilo, Araka, A great burden is no longer on my shoulder, I am forever in your debt."

Araka looks at the elder knowing how much respect the elder needs to bow down as she looks beyond the elder and sees the entire village bowing, the smoke of fire blowing behind them. A once in a lifetime moment.

it started to snow as the two walk down the path they where on.

they haven't slept in a couple of days since there were no inns anywhere.

"s-s-s-so cold." Arilo shivered as he rubbed his arms.

Araka giggled a bit as she didn't seems affected.

"H-h-h-how c-come your not a-affected?" he said still rubbing his arms.

Araka giggled again, "cause of my bond I can heat myself up or cool myself down."

"I shoulda gone for a s-singing bond."

the teen's conversation abruptly stopped due to the giant iron gate in front of them, there seemed to be no guards looking out.

Arilo looks through the metal bars of the gate to see the city completely abandoned. The houses and buildings completely destroyed with a few tarps as ceilings, Yet there's no one In sight

"What the hell happened?" Arilo said still shivering.

"Hey, over here! There's a hole in the wall!" Araka said pointing as Arilo walked over and crawls inside without thinking.

"it doesn't seem like anyone here, are you sure this is the central ci-"

before Arilo could finish his statement he was hit by a rock flown through the air as it pushed arilo down into the snow forcing him to slide but his resilience was good enough to flip up and in one giant motion summon his blade and get into a defensive postion.

"Arilo! are you alright, I'm coming in!" Araka screamed but before she could start to crawl inside she was knocked to the ground by a tall figure in a black mask, covering their entire face, the figure then kicked her head and knocked her out.

"Araka!"

Arilo then rushed to the hole but before he could make it he got tackled by another figure in the same mask, but arilo kicked him off as the figure grunted. Arilo swiftly stood up, and pointed his blade at the masks figure's neck.
