"You demon!!! Look at what you've done!!"

"Rui you know you can't go outside"

Rui Bolted up from his sleep with a scream in his throat threatening to come out, looking around he realized he was at his house where he lives with Yuji, he hadn't always lived with Yuji but when he had awoken he found that the mountain over time had eroded a bit no longer being as big as it had been, he had gone out in search for food only to find Yuji who had decided to adventure up the mountain, it was easy to say that Yuji was surprised to find a young kid all the way up in the mountains covered in dirt,

So Yuji took Rui in with him and Rui had been living with him for awhile, Rui had meant to eat Yuji but he grew attached and now when ever he thought of eating Yuji he felt disgusted and sick so he let Yuji live and he's glad he did,

Climbing out of his bed he went looking for Yuji, he and Yuji would sleep in the same bed seeing as Rui could have quite horrible Nightmares at times, his feet patted against the cold wooden floor, walking towards the living room Rui frowned when he couldn't find Yuji there and that the sun was just now rising, soon though he heard a voice from the kitchen, walking towards the kitchen Rui found Yuji talking on the phone with someone,

"Yeah I heard, me and Rui will come today after school" Yuji said before he hung up, and turned to find Rui, "ah morning Rui I didn't wake you did I?" Yuji asked already used to Rui popping out of seemingly no where, "you were gone" Rui stated with a blunt tone, making Yuji chuckle nervously, "haha sorry I got up to use the bathroom but once I was up, I was up so I called the hospital to check in on grandpa, so how do you feel about seeing him huh?" Yuji asked as he patted Rui's head making him hum, "I feel..okay about it" Rui mumbled making Yuji laugh

"Okay then but I'm going to have to go straight after my school club so you're going to have to go with me alright do you think you can do that?" Yuji asked making Rui huff before nodding making Yuji smile,  "haha that's good to hear Rui!" Yuji sang as he rubbed Rui's head once again making Rui smile a small smile, "oh don't worry about having to keep the look up for long I think I'll just ask the nurse if you can stay there till it's club time" Yuji said making Rui frown,

"Come one Rui you know you can't Keep that look up forever" Yuji said making Rui huff before walking back to the room, "do you at least want breakfast" Yuji asked making Rui peek his head back in, "hehe I got some blueberries for you" Yuji said laughing when Rui came up towards him and made grabby hands, "hahah okay okay here you go" Yuji laughed as he handed Rui his small bowl of blueberries.

Rui grumbled as He rode on Yuji back towards the nurses office, Yuji said "it's to save energy" but Rui didn't think it worked that way as he can slowly feel his breathing becoming uneven, "almost there Rui don't worry" Yuji comforted as he turned a corner with a smile that seemed to get bigger once he noticed the nurses office, opening the door Yuji greeted the nurse who greeted him back, "Ohayou ms nurse would it be okay if i leave my little brother here he is to sick to go to normal school and I couldn't find a babysitter" Yuji asked making the nurse hum a little before nodding.

"okay, I'll allow it but try to make a back up plan if I can't watch him next time" the nurse scolded making Yuji nod as he walked over to one of the beds, "okay here we are Rui why don't you rest and wait for me for lunch, I packed blueberries and some games for you" Yuji said as he set Rui down and placed a blanket over his lap, "okay I'm leaving now see you at lunch" Yuji said before closing the privacy curtain, with a small sigh Rui slowly changed back towards his normal look, with a sigh Rui laid down and pulled the blanket up and over his head and going to sleep.

Soon lunch came and thus Yuji also came,
The two are together with Yuji telling jokes every now and then while Rui tried to understand most of them, it's still somewhat hard for Rui to understand modern jokes and humor that Everyone has, he does come from the Taishro-Era after all, but with Yuji he can pretend that he was also born in the modern world with Yuji, his jokes are simple and easy to understand, and soon Yuji left and went back to class before coming back and taking Rui with him to his club making him happy, he unfortunately though had to put his disguise back on making him un happy but Yuji promised his club didn't last long and he can be himself around his friends, so when he was outside of the club room he took off his disguise.

When Yuji Introduced His upper classmates he said that Rui was wearing makeup and the girl that Rui forgot the name of fawned over his looks, Rui was surprised honestly, if Rui went outside normally people would look at him with weird looks that made him self conscious but with Yuji's friends Rui felt comfortable,

When their club began Rui just sat down in Yuji's lap and tried to sleep, it was easy to sleep with how warm Yuji was and how gentle he was holding Rui, thankfully since Rui was used to Yuji's loud personality he was able to drown out Yuji's talking and laughing.

Just as he was about to reach the brink of sleep the door slammed open starting him awake,

"OCCULT CLUB!!"

A loud voice yelled making Rui grumble really?, just as he was about to sleep.
