The woman and some strange looking elder who was most likely female both sat at throne-looking chairs, elegant and looming over the large room. The large, polished double doors opened and a person stepped in. This person was quite peculiar in the way they looked. The person, whom it was very hard to tell the gender of, had short boyish hair pulled under a rugged, beaten up cap that seemed as if it had been worn by many people. The person had green eyes to accompany their straw colored curls. They were tall, but not too tall, they wore a tattered button down shirt accompanied by suspenders, though the person looked proud, as if they had payed all the money they had to get this dressed up.
The person stepped forward Into the court and approached the woman.
"Who are you?" The woman asked in a commanding voice.
The person bowed, taking their hat off, all the while smiling devilishly up and the woman.
"My name is Coran, and I have no royal title."
The elder scowled at them, now called Coran. "You are to address her lady properly!" She said in a screeching voice.
Coran rose and furrowed their brow. "I apologize if it is any inconvenience, I do not know how."
the woman stood elegantly. she had red hair and blue eyes, a red dress to match her hair in great measure.
"No matter, Coran. you will not need to." she walked slowly down the center of the room until she met with Coran. "You and I will be spending much time together."
Coran gave a slight smile. the woman turned to the elder.
"Please, Edith, leave immediately."
The elder stood, hunched in a constant bow as she hurriedly left the room.
The woman had her arm around Coran's shoulders nonchalantly and smiled, a warm, important smile.
"I am known as Adonia, and you are my new intern. And," she added, "In all of the kingdom of Zeroth, you are the most loyal to the queen." She leaned in close to Coran and whispered, "that's me."
