Once I dropped off Charlie, I began heading to Katherine's home. It took a bit of time because of traffic but once I arrived Katherine's parents let me in. I went up to her room and she was laying in bed watching TV.

"Rise and shine beauty"

"Hayley, what are you doing here?" She checked her phone and realized what time it was.

"I brought all your homework and we are going to do another study session"

"Ugh, you know, when a person goes missing, they shouldn't have to do school for a while"

"Yeah well, you told me to bring the homework to you, and you have no major injuries. I'm just following your orders"

"Still, I shouldn't be doing school right away"

I'm getting tired of this. All she does is complain about not wanting to do school because she went missing. I understand, that she went through something traumatic, and it's going to take time to heal; but that doesn't mean complaining about it all the time.

"Alright. Let's wait on homework. Tell me what happened in the woods" I suggested and her face went strict, which was rare.

"I keep telling everyone I don't want to talk about it. So stop asking me"

"Whatever. Let's just do some work." I suggested and she nodded.

We finished her English and her Chemistry, but the class she was having more difficulty in was Biology. Which I don't understand. Chemistry is way harder than Biology, yet she struggles with it.

"Katherine! Hayley! Come down to eat dinner please!"

We giggled together, then Katherine called back, "Coming!"

I helped Katherine down the stairs. She's healing nicely but just has some bruises. We sat down at the table and Mrs. James made us Chilli with some store about pita bread, but either way still tasted amazing. Throughout dinner, Mr. and Mrs. James were glancing at each other and looking at me. Did it have to do with "They're back"? I helped Katherine with the rest of her work and went over the lesson that each teacher gave. Eventually, Katherine's parents told her it was time to rest, and I had to get home.

I got into the car and drove home. I was looking straight ahead, and out of nowhere, something appears on the road. I pressed the brakes as hard as I could and when I looked out again, there was nothing there. What the hell is going on with me? I already fear cars, but even worse would be hitting someone. I took a deep breath and continued driving. I reached home, and when I pulled into the driveway, there was another car- one I didn't recognize. I parked and Gabriel stood up once he saw me leave my car. I got up to the stairs and stood in front of where he was sitting.

"Hey," I said hesitantly

"I wanted to see you. I don't like how we left things a few weeks ago"

I nodded, then the porch light glared off of something shiny. I looked and it was his necklace. But how? I don't think I have given it back to him.

"It's not yours" I muttered

"What did you say?" He asked, and I brought myself back to reality

"Uh, nothing. I'm just tired" I lied. I hate lying, but sometimes it just happens.

"Oh right. I have to go. Can I ask you something?"

"Okay?" I said slowly.

"Can I drive you to school tomorrow?"

"Why?"

"Because I wanted to get to know you. And so we can talk" He said, and I couldn't help but smile.

"Fine. I'll see you tomorrow morning"

"See you tomorrow morning," He said as he smiled

"Goodnight Gabriel"

"Goodnight Hayley," He said as he walked off

He got into his car and drove off. I sighed and went inside where Uncle John and Aunt were sitting in the living room watching TV.

"Hayley! You're finally home!" Uncle John quickly got up and gave me a big hug, and I hugged him back.

"Yeah, but I'm going to take a shower and head to bed" Aunt Kate looked and me with disbelief.

"Come on! It's only 6:30 pm. You really want to sleep?"

"What can I say, explaining biology to Katherine is tiring" I laughed and did they.

"How is she doing? I haven't been able to visit her recently" Aunt Kate asked

"She's doing better. She still hasn't talked to anyone about...." I couldn't finish, but they understood.

"That poor girl," Uncle John said and I nodded

"I'm going to be down in a little. I'll stay up" I said as I went upstairs and took a shower.

When I got changed and finished drying my chair. I passed by my necklace stand, and the necklace that Gabriel has is still there. There are two things that must be happening. 1. I'm going insane, or 2. There is something going on and Gabriel is involved. I went downstairs and saw on the TV the news. I slowly walked into the room as I listened to the news.

"Ashley Wiliams. Age 18 found unconscious in the middle of the woods. Police say they are looking into this. The person who found the body says there were two holes in the victims neck. More updates to come"

I sat down and just stared at the TV. Two holes in the neck and found in the woods- just like Katherine. Who's doing this?

"It's disturbing. Targeting young adults and leaving them almost dead in the woods" Uncle John said, and Aunt Kate agrees and so did I. Someone is massively weird and disturbed.

Two hours passed and I decided to head to sleep. The girl and the necklace stayed on my mind most of the night. When I woke up, I got changed, ate breakfast and eventually came time for Gabriel to pick me up. I heard the doorbell ring and Aunt Kate went to answer.

"Hello, I'm here to pick up Hayley for school" I heard Gabriel's voice

"Hayley!" Aunt Kate shouted

I walked over to the door and smiled, "Morning"

"Morning" He smiled back

"Let me just get my things real quick"' I walked away, but he didn't enter. I turned back around and raised a brow.

"What?"

"What are you doing? Come in" I said, and then he did

I laughed and finished getting my things together and we walked to his car after I locked the door. We got inside and I buckled my seat belt. I sighed and looked at him.

"Well, what do you want to know?" I asked
