Finally After 2000 Years

CH 3. I Missed You

So sorry this chapter is going to be short as well. I really want to update the chapters more often, but work is getting a toll on me and I was on a three week vacation just a few days ago.   : (

I am writing Chapter 4 & Chapter 5 right now so it's not going to be discontinued!

     Morning came and from afar footsteps could be heard gradually coming closer, waking me up from my rest. As I rise up from the bed, 2 individuals show up in front of the cell I am confined in. 1 of them was Levi, but the other person was a woman with long brown hair in a ponytail. She also had goggles on along with the widest grin on her face.

"SO! She's the mysterious beauty you guys found during your expedition!! OMG!!! Just look at her!! She's soooo cute!!!!" The woman with goggles excitedly exclaims as she grabs the bars of the cells.

"Hey, shut up. Stop yelling first thing in the morning. Tch" Levi glares.

"My bad, my bad I just couldn't suppress myself." The woman waves her hands apologetically.

     From listening to these two I was confused on why they were here if they wanted to bicker amongst themselves.

"Anyways, pretty lady, I apologize if I scared you. My name is Hanji, I am the squad leader of inventing and conducting research." Hanji exclaims. "I came here to ask a few questions about you, but don't worry I won't force you in any way."

"..." This woman called Hanji seems to be kind, however despite her exciting deminiere, I can see that she is assessing my every reaction carefully. She must also be a smart and strong person.

     Then Hanji suddenly brings out a chair, and sits in front of my bars. "If you don't mind, I would like to start so we can get this out of the way since later today we're going to bring Eren here as you requested yesterday." 

  I agree with Hanji of wanting to get this out of the way, so I turn my body towards Hanji, ready for the questioning.

     From my demeanor, Hanji nods and smiles. "Great! Ok, here's my first question. What is your name and how old are you?"

     To this I respond, "My name is (y/n). I don't know how old I am."

     I can't just say that I'm about 2000 years old to these people. Plus I can't remember my exact age anymore.

"Ok (y/n) from the looks of you I think you're around the age of 19-21." Hanji repliescand begins writing down on a piece of paper on a board in her hand. "Next question. Why were you outside of walls? Where is your family?"

"..."

     I can't answer the first part of the question. I still can't trust these people to know more about myself.

"Sorry, I guess that was a hard question to answer, let's move on to the next que—"

"My family is dead. None of them are alive." I speak up.

     A few moments of silence goes by.

     Hanji begins writing down on her paper. "Right, thank you. I'm sorry for making you answer these kinds of questions, but next will be the last question. Ok? Last question, where do you currently live? How did you leave the walls and make it outside the walls?"

"...."

     There is no way I can answer this...

"Alright thank you, we're done with the questions today. Now you'll have to wait for a little more and later today, we'll bring Eren here."
