Three weeks have passed since Fran and Dr. Tylor have started reading together, as well as since Fran had met Mall. "It's all once again my fault" reads the Dr.; "It'ss all once ahgain my ffault" Fran recited meekly. "Ok and that's all for this chapter" Dr. Tylor closes the book "you have gotten so much better at speaking I'm really proud!" Frans smiled "yea" they muttered. "Well, let's get on with it I think the Final exam should be starting in a bit, wait a sec" the Dr. checks the time from his arm. Dr. Tylor leaps up from the bench in a panic "Oh geez we gotta go it started a few minutes ago!", Fran follows calmly walking out the door and then into a sprint as they both run to the Testing room.
The testing room door opens and the evaluation has already started. Dr. Tylor apologizes to the administrators and Fran is registered to a seat and begins the test. The candidates are stationed in a square and given a unique and random test that measures the same skill sets. The Dr. is stationed in the corner of the room for observation. Fran begins the test not really thinking about wanting to pass or fail the exam. Fran answers question after question quietly along with all the others when suddenly Fran's exam comes to an end.
The room is eerily silent when suddenly Dr. Tylor leaps from his seat and rushes towards Fran. "Fran, you passed! You got the best possible score!" Dr. Tylor gives Fran a hug from behind. Fran stares blankly at the test results, 1/1 it reads. "You're so smart! I knew you can do it!" The Dr. exclaims. "Hey, calm down now! The others are still testing!" The administrators barks. Dr. Tylor whispers to Fran "Good Job" before retreating back to their chair in the corner. Fran looks around at the other testers half-embarrassed but also a little proud; awaiting the time limit to run out. Dr. Tylor walked out before the exam ended to retrieve something.
The exams abruptly end as the instructors check the scores of everyone else. No one makes a sound and one by one people are let out of the Testing room to return to their room. Fran was called and let out of the room and began their way down the hall.
