Amity's POV
Luz had told me about her father passing away honestly when she told me I only felt guilt . How did I not notice her being upset, depressed in fact. I feel like she's keeping something more from me I want to understand her better as a person. But I don't want to crowd her I get if she's going through a lot right now but that doesn't mean she should have to bear through it by herself. She helps everyone even the ones that were bad to her. I was bad to her..... I used to call her names and tease her but things are different now I'm going to make up for it.

A few hours later ......

(At the Owl House )
Amity's POV
*knock * *knock*
............
"Oh hey Amity!" "Hey Luz." I say back. We walk in the house and sit on the couch. "So what brings you here ?" " Luz I wanted to talk about something ." I ask. "Oh um go ahead."

"Luz I want you to tell me more about your home life." " I know I might be pressuring you but I just want to make sure someone's there for you as well."
"You don't have to be alone."

Luz's eyes started to lit up she was already crying earlier about her father. She took a deep breath and spoke .

Luz's POV
"Well I was sometimes bullied at my school for being weird." "People wouldn't sit next to me in lunch and I never really and any friends Gus and Willow were my first friends." "And well sometimes I thought about leaving like the world in general. I just was tired of being happy for everybody else but I'm reality I just want people to accept me for who I am." I look at Amity to see that fear expression that she had on her face when I told her about my dad but she was crying this time. She hugged me.

Amity's POV
I couldn't help myself I felt so bad for her. Sometimes I wonder if she's really happy at all or is she just faking wanting to being girlfriend because she feels bad for me. I feel her hugging me back with tears falling down her face we both embrace each other with tears falling down our eyes.
"Amity."
I look at Luz. "You know your the first person who knows about my dad passing away." "I told you first because I trust you your amazing, you care for others and the way you stand up to your mother and anyone." Luz says.

"Luz promise me if you feel sad or you just need someone to talk you'll text me or come to me first right."

"I promise"

454 words I could do longer but right now I have Covid and somehow the flu as well like TF and it's 4:00 in the morning so I'll post at least every Wednesday and Friday.
