"What did you just do?" Tanong ni Bea sa kanya.

"Look, in 2 months magpapakasal na ex girlfriend ko, why don't you stick with the agreement and play pretend with me as my girlfriend, we'll draft a contract. I will pay your university expenses." propose ni Thirdy.

"Wait! Naisip mo ba kung ano offer mo? You're unbelievable!"

"Pinagsasabi mo dyan. Hindi ikaw ung klase ng babae na magugustuhan ko noh kaya chill ka lang. Sasama sama ka lang sa akin if I have meetings. Madaming tanong si Julia."

"Sino si Julia, ung ex girlfriend mo? Bakit ba kasi ako pa gusto nyo guluhin."

"She seems to be jealous of you. I have never seen her act that strange before so you'll be perfect for this."

"Why are you even doing this? Do you want her back?"

"Nawawala na tayo sa usapan. I'm offering you to get your life back and be able to pursue and finish your studies."

Nagulat si Thirdy nung maramadaman nya palad ni Bea sa mukha nya. Nasampal na sya.

"I would rather work all my life at my Aunt's shop than pretend to be someone I'm not. I have a boyfriend!"

"Okay fine, I offered you a contract and you refused. Tara na, umuwi na tayo."

"What if they find out na nagsinungaling ka sa kanila?" Bea worriedly asked.

"Mga lasing na un, they won't even remember all that."

Pagbaba nila ng plane, hinarap na agad ni Bea si Thirdy.

"I really hope that this is going to be the last time that I'm seeing you."

"And again, the feeling is mutual." Thirdy said sarcastically.

Pagtalikod ni Bea, dali dali nya naramdaman mga tao na palapit sa kanila, may photographer, people from the press, it seemed surreal to her. They were all calling Thirdy's name, nagulat si Bea.

Agad nyang hinila si Bea.

"Ano ito?" Bea asked, confused at what was happening.

She was hearing a lot of questions from the people surrounding them.

"Sir, ano po name nya?"

"Kelan po nangyari ang engagement?"

"Kelan po ang kasal?"

"Is she a partner of your company?"

"Where did you meet her?"

Dali dali nyang sinakay si Bea sa sasakyan nya na naghihintay sa kanila sa hangar.

"Tomorrow morning may press conference ako about a new investment. The press will definitely be there. I'll tell them that you are my personal assistant."

"Okay." Was Bea's short response.

"I need you to be there. You will be standing nearby."

Napaisip si Bea but she didn't respond anymore.

Hinatid na sya ni Thirdy kung saan sya nakatira. 

"So, tomorrow I will be there, for the last time magkikita tayo." Bea told him before she went out of the car.

"For the last time." Thirdy repeated for assurance.

In the morning, nagprepare na si Bea for the press conference na pupuntahan nya. Her friends decided to accompany her. Bago pa sila makaalis, nagring phone ni Bea, checked the called ID and revealed her boyfriend's name. Her friends were telling her not to pick up but Bea can't afford not to take the call.

"Andrei!"

"Can we meet today, I have to tell you something really important."

"Oh no, I can't today, may gagawin ako eh."

"Saan? Tell me the location, pupuntahan na lang kita."

Kahit ilang beses na sumenyas mga kaibigan nya not to tell her boyfriend san sa makikita, Bea still gave him her location.

While Thirdy's team is preparing for the press conference, lumapit si Julia sa kanya.

"Are you not concerned about the news of your sudden engagement?" Julia asked him.

"PR Manager ka diba, dapat alam mo kung ano gagawin dyan."

"I know, but they have been out of control ever since the news about your engagement came out."

"Then do your thing and obstruct them. Sa inyo din naman nagumpisa ang balita about my sudden engagement."

Dumating na si Bea accompanied by her friends. She said hi to Julia but the latter just smiled at her and left.

"Be ready in a few, papatawag kita pag kailangan ka na and don't wander." Mahinang bilin ni Thirdy kay Bea.

"Bea!" It was Andrei.

He greeted her friends, nginitian naman sya ng mga kaibigan ni Bea at umalis para makapag usap sila.

"I really need to talk to you."

"Andrei, I know, but now is not a good time."

"Now is the right time. I have to be at the airport in an hour." Explain ni Andrei.

"1 hour? Airport? Aalis ka?"

"Oo but before I leave may kailangan tayo kasi pagusapan."

Napangiti si Bea. Naisip nya na baka magppropose na boyfriend nya sa kanya katulad ng parating sinasabi ng mga kaibigan nya sa kanya.

"Ah sige halika, upo muna tayo dun." Aya ni Bea sa kanya.

When they were already seated, Andrei took her hand, si Bea nakangiti lang buong time.

"Bei, we've known each other for a long time. Aalis ako ngayon papunta sa ibang bansa. Iiwan na kita." Andrei explained.

Tumango lang si Bea, nakangiti pa din.

"Bea, can you hear me? Naiintindihan mo ba ako? I want to break up with you na."

Biglang nagiba ang mukha ni Bea.

"Ano? Seryoso ka ba?"

"Bei, please understand. May nakilala na akong iba."

"Wait, is this because dun sa nabasa mo about Thirdy and I being engaged?"

"Of course not. Hindi ako naniniwala dun. He's one of the most eligible bachelors at mayaman. Lahat ata ng babae dito at sa ibang mundo, gusto sya. And I know na hindi un totoo."

"Minamaliit mo ba ako?" Tanong nya kay Andrei.

Hindi na nakasagot si Andrei. Unti unting umalis si Bea sa harapan ni Andrei, ung last words ni Andrei sa kanya was still replaying inside her head.

She started walking towards the direction where Thirdy was supposed to deliver his speech.

"Welcome everyone, thank you all for coming. Before we start with the business side of this press conference, I would just like to correct one thing regarding the news that recently came out--"

And there was Bea headed out to Thirdy at hinalikan ito.

Everybody was shocked, pati ung popper na di pa dapat pumutok ay napindot ng isang tauhan sa opisina.

The reporters and photographers were busy taking pictures of the kiss Bea gave Thirdy. Wala na nagawa si Thirdy kundi humawak sa bewang ni Bea.
