(This is a Wattpad story requested by the creator of the fic Nithya2023, so thank you for that)

The 26th of February is a story by a local in Wattpad Nithya2023, it currently has a prologue and 10 chapters, and isn't currently completed.

Characters: The main characters are Alayah and Davian, Davian wants to be a rich business man instead of someone in the medical field and Alayah wants to be a photographer and doesn't like college. There is also Anne, Lucas, Dr Stevens, Althea, and Nick. There are more characters, including the reincarnations(I think) of the main characters.

Davian is basically described as drop dead gorgeous. He also snuggled with his cousin, so there's that. He also also ran away from medical school his uncle paid for him and stole the records of him being there(Lucas isn't happy about it, for obvious reasons med school is EXPENSIVE). He has a lot of nightmares as well. He's just kind of there for me, he's meh.

Alayah is a girl who's easily annoyed. But she's fine, I'll give her credit were credit is do, and she's an amusing character to read about. Her and her antics are enjoyable.

Anne, she prefers her nephew over her own daughter. She also at one point thought her nephew was hooking up with someone for he was moaning so much, it wasn't that though he was just having a nightmare. So she can also be enjoyable to read about, but like her nephew she's also just kind of there.

Lucas, his name is Lucas therefore I like him. He's also amusing like his daughter.

Dr Stevens, I like him he's a nut job who heavily believes in fate. This man knows things, like knows things normal people shouldn't and I like that of him. I enjoy him, and sometimes think about what his backstory is. I sometimes/think he was a theater kid in school, for how dramatic he is.

Althea is the hot caring teacher and that's about it. She can say that one of her students cousins asked her out on a date. But other than that she's just kind of there.

Nick is rich, out of this world hot, and generic. Well that's what I thought he was, then boom he was fricken Carlton all along, and it was implied with genius detail that he was him before revealing who he was! Like chef kiss plot twist, it had what it needed to be a good plot twist that didn't come out of nowhere! I thought he was going to be another semi basic character, but he isn't! He's a well made character who I love, and is one of my favorite characters in this story.
Also, on a more personal level I can relate to him a bit for thinking a bit like that, and yeah that situation is just painful, and causes you a lot of personal damage and self blame. So he's relatable wooh! Time to add him to my fictional characters who I kin list!

And then there's Jennifer(who I also love), she's an overworked women who's taking care of her disabled father. Her father keeps trying to discuss a wedding proposal between her and a man named Angus, who comes from a wealthy and good hearted family, she doesn't want to marry Angus, even though she thinks he has a good personality, she doesn't want to marry him. And the reason why can only be described as the thought of going through the pain of someone you care about leaving you again, she's scared to get married, for her mother left her(for she died), and she's scared of going through that emotional pain again. So she's a beautifully written character with a distinguishable personality. She also is very tired and has cats! She's mwah, chef kiss for her!

Grammar: The grammar is good, except for one thing, and how it's in past tense when it should be in present tense

Plot: Honestly it's a bit of a predictable plot. But it's still a good plot, just because something's predictable doesn't mean it's bad, it's like cliches they're good if they're done right. The idea that we can see into the past life of the main characters through Davian's dreams is interesting(even though it isn't explained). And my favorite part of the plot is whenever it's the dream sequence. It's also easy to imagine where the characters are do to all the details, but it's the good amount of details where you aren't being smothered with all the details.
The plot twists are also written well, where they don't come out of nowhere , and we haven enough details to guess what's going to happen(well for me anyway)

Romance: I may struggle to develop a crush on someone, but even I(I assume most people) don't mind a good romance. But my goodness this isn't it, the chemistry is there, but my goodness they're cousins! Like Davian's mom is Alayah's dad's younger sister, they were also raised together to make matters worse. Like I get they're going for they're lovers from a past life, and their souls are still trying to be together, but why did you have to make them cousins!? They also act more like siblings then lovers(I mean they were fricken raised together, it makes sense). They always are trying to annoy each other, and no it's not when you're teasing your S.O. It's the way you tease your siblings, in a sadistic and cruel way. So it wouldn't even be that healthy either.

But the romance between Nick and Jennifer is actually fantastically made. Not because it's wholesome or anything, oh no this ship is a well written angst fest! They met 6 years before they thought they officially met, because Nick accidentally killed her mother, crippled her father, killed her unborn baby sibling, and causing what she sees as six years in hell all do to a car crash, hoorah emotional fricken turmoil! Jennifer learns this on their friendly meeting at a fancy restaurant which totally wasn't a date(😉), and yeah she reacts how you'd respect, mad. Won't spoil all of it but my goodness are the dream sequences my favorite parts of the story.

So out of everything it's a pretty solid story(except the romance between Davian, and Alayah, because that's a huge NO, for the reasons I explained, and how some of the characters are not that interesting).

Nithyashri you made an excellent story, that I really enjoyed.
