Chapter 10: The Diary of Tom Riddle

(Narrator's POV)

Everyone book their seats for the holidays. No one wanted to stay another minute at Hogwarts if there is a snake monster attacking students and or staff. Some people still tried to blame it on Harry, for example...Ron and Hermione for some reason.

Though Fred and George would make the atmosphere much better for Harry. They would make jokes with him, and make him laugh, in front of others. Draco, Pansy, Theo, and Blaise are always there for him and tells people off.

Neville and Luna ask people about HOW could it be Harry since Justin told everyone what the monster was, and that Harry is ALWAYS with other people when the attacks happen.

On Christmas morning, Draco and Harry woke up and Harry was super excited, since this is his first Christmas with friends. The Slytherins go down to the Great hall.

Harry looked outside to see all the snow, the snow reminds him of Bucky, since he had told Harry where Hydra kept him and Regulus and how Hydra would always freeze them for when they didn't need them. It broke his heart to know that their lives and futures were taken just like that.

They get to the Great hall to hear Dumbledore singing his favorite carols. Harry still wasn't too happy with what the old man tried to pull with him. He knew what Dumbledore wanted.

He wanted to scare Harry into begging to be resorted into Gryffindor. Since the old man's plan was to accuse Harry of the attacks since he's in Slytherin, and he was hoping that if Harry saw this, he would beg to be resorted into Gryffindor, so he wouldn't be accused anymore.

But Harry knew the lies this man was trying, and he didn't care about what house he was in. Harry actually likes Slytherin. Plus Harry knew his father would've been placed into Slytherin, since he's the god Loki. He thinks his father did something to the hat to be placed into Gryffindor, though he doesn't know why.

Harry felt like he was being stared at, so he looked over to see Ron and Hermione looking at him as if they were trying to figure him out. But the moment they realized they were caught staring, they looked away, and Hermione ushered Ron out of the Great Hall.

After Harry, Draco, Pansy, Theo, and Blaise all went back to their common room. Crabbe and Goyle though were unsurprisingly late.

Pansy: "Do you think they were attacked?"

Harry shrugged his shoulders and sat down in a chair by the fire. He kind of hopes they were, just to show people that it wasn't him who was causing the attacks.

Harry: "If they were, I hope people don't blame me for it."

They nodded their heads, and Draco went to go find them. Only when he came back, only Crabbe was with him. This confused them.

Harry: "Wait where is Goyle?"

Pansy: "Did he get attacked as well?"

Crabbe snapped his head at her looking shocked but also suspicious of her. It made Harry uneasy, he could sense that he wasn't Crabbe, so he put up all his defensive.

Draco: "No, he knocked himself out. So don't worry Pansy."

Pansy sighed out in relief and nodded her head. This made Crabbe calm down. Draco walked over to the coffee table and grabbed a newspaper that he was reading before, and handed it over to Crabbe to read it. Harry remembers what the paper read.

"INQUIRY AT THE MINISTRY OF MAGIC- Arthur Weasley, Head of the Misuse of Muggle Artifacts Office, was today fined fifty Galleons for bewitching a Muggle car. Mr. Lucius Malfoy, a governor of Hogwarts called today for Mr. Weasley's resignation. "Weasley has brought the Ministry into disrepute." Mr. Malfoy told our reporters. "He is clearly unfit to raw up our laws and his ridiculous Muggle Protection Art should be scrapped up immediately." Mr. Weasly was unavailable for a comment, all though his wife told reporters to clear off or she'll set the family ghoul on them."
