It's been 3 weeks since I last saw and heard from Mikey. He haven't made a move yet nor he tried to contact y/n in anyway. I was sure he is planning something, but I can't put my finger on it just yet. When it comes to my plan-it's working perfectly. Yesterday y/n started feeling really sick, so I took her to the doctor. Turns out I haven't did the job, but she caught a cold, which was still an option. Maybe God decided, that we should have a child, when we actually want to.
I was still obsessed over Mikey and what he might do, I couldn't stop thinking about it for days now. I made sure to secure the house and y/n, I cut all the contacts she might have with the outside world. As bad as it sounds, I can't risk losing her right now, so I did what I had to to protect my marriage.
"Don't you think it's too far, Shuji?", Kisaki was standing right next to me in my office and was looking outside to all the guards I payed to stay on the gate. It was like a war in my house and I liked it that way, "what can Mikey possibly do to us, all of his members are working for us now and his sister is here, he could never attack us, or he might risk it all", he explained.
"I'm not worried, that he might attack us, Tetta, I'm worried he might find a way to tell y/n the truth about me", I turn to face him and my tired eyes moved from place to place around the room, I haven't slept in days and I was so tired, I couldn't keep my focus on. The only thing I was thinking about was Mikey.
"So? Y/n is madly in love with you, she"lol find out sooner or later. Plus, she might know already, but doesn't say anything for now".
"I doubt that", I turn back to look thru the big window in my office and I followed every guard with my eyes, "I made sure she doesn't find out all these years, even Mikey didn't tell her".
"How are you so sure?", Kisaki asked me.
"Because he was too busy fighting for his life on his death bed", I smiled from ear to ear.
My hate for Mikey started the moment he told me he could never let me be with y/n. He was the first one I asked for a blessing and he never gave it to me. I don't want it anyway, I have her all for myself. As me and Kisaki continued or conversation, we heard a knock on my door. I turn around to see y/n and William entering my office with big smiles on their faces. The moment I saw my wife standing up my face lit up. She couldn't got up from our bed for days now, but she looks even better than before. I walk up to em.
"Hey, you two", I pressed a kiss on y/n's head and squeezed William's cheek, then I bend down to look him in the eyes, "this you brought y/n here, even tho you know she's sick?".
"No, dad, she wanted to come", he said.
I looked up at my beautiful wife and she put a big smile once again, I can't help but fall in love with this woman all over again. Her beautiful e/c eyes and the way they spark, the way her face is getting flustered every time she looks at me. I'll give my life for that woman, I'll do the impossible to protect her and our marriage. I knew from the moment I saw her walk down the aisle I know I'll dedicate my life to her.
"Shuji, may I talk with you outside?", y/n snapped me out of my thoughts and turned her back to walk outside. I followed her outside my office and I closed the door behind me. Then y/n turned around and looked at me, her face was telling me she was excited.
"What's up, my dear? You look happy", I said and I hugged her around the waist.
"I have a present for you", she pulled out a card and gave it to me. I looked at her with a little bit of confusion and then opened the card, which said; 'see you in 9 months, dad'.
"I don't understand. Did William did this?", I looked at her still quite confused and she started laughing at me like crazy.
"No, silly, I made it. Think about it".
I looked at the card and I read the words one more time before my tired brain finally caught up. I dropped the card and I hugged my wife lifting her up in the air, y/n started laughing and giggling. I can't believe it, I thought to myself as I was spinning around with her.
"I'm going to be a dad?!", I shouted out loud and kissed y/n on the lips, "I can't believe we are going to be parents", I said.
"Me too, I'm so excited".
I knew this might happen, since I came in her that time, but after the doctor I thought that we did succeed. Never mind that, I'm so happy to hear that my y/n is pregnant. Now I have one more reason to protect her. As I was reaching out to kiss her again I felt like someone was watching us, I looked around and then I saw a shadow running down the hall. I put y/n down and I immediately started running after the person. It was definitely a man, tall but not close to me, he was wearing a black hoodie. I was close to get him, when the window next to me broke and an arrow hit me in the shoulder. I fell down and I let out a groan out of pain. Fuck, you had to ruin my moment, Mikey. I got up from the floor and I came back to find Kisaki searching for me.
"They attacked you", he looked at the arrow in my shoulder and reached to remove it, but I stopped him.
"Get y/n and William and put them in a secure room, I'll get the guards and find this bastard myself", I said and I removed the arrow off my shoulder pulling it faster, my blood was now everywhere on the floor, "if you want war, you'll get war, Manjiro Sano".
