"Almost there!" Sarv cheered me on from the crowd.
"YOU GOT THIS BITCH!"
Selever jumped up and down form the bleachers as I ran across the mile long field.
When I lost all my abilities I decided to join a running club and to my and everyone else surprise I was pretty fast without powers. All those times I powered up wasn't the magic making me fast, it was the physical strength in my legs.
The girl behind me, Sarah Marsh, started to catch up as we were met with the half mark way on the track. She was the MVP of all races before I showed up and kinda hated me now.
The last thing I expected was for her to trip me leading to my face plant in the sandy orange dirt.
Before I knew it everyone had passed me and the finish line was just ahead.
"WHAT THE HELL!?" I yell flipping her off out of frustration.
Theres no way I'm letting this cheating bitch win the race and land me in last place!
My left eye started to flicker pink, the wing blew around me, the crowd got quiet. I pushed off the ground sending me at full speed down the track lane and past the finish line while kicking Sarah in the leg in the process.
The bleachers are filled with cheers and claps as I jump around in joy. Not too long after, I walk over to Sarv, Ruv, and Selever.
"You did great!" Sarv rapped my hand jumping in excitement.
"Am I the only one the saw her eye flicker or was it just me?" Selever leaned over to whisper slightly in Ruv's ear.
"Its not just you or we're both crazy." Ruv whispered back.
"I don't even know what it was I kinda just blacked out." I playfully laughed blowing the sudden speed off.
Only if I knew this was just the beginning
