Ivy
I left a heavy sigh before walking towards the stage nung tinawag na pangalan ko. I felt anxious as I saw how many people were in the crowds but at the same time proud.
"Ivy Coleen, with high honors" our principal spoked. Nakipag shake hands din ako sa mga nakakataas at sa advicer ko na naghihintay sakin upang iaabot ang certificate, diplomat at medal ko. I tried to find where my mom and dad is para sabitan na ako ng medal. I looked down as I felt the warmth in my eyes, and tried to held back my tears.
"Smile" Kuya Ivan whispered while he's phanting, tumakbo ata. I look at him and nginitian nya lang ako at tinuro yung mga kaibigan nya sa baba ng stage, yung isa may hawak na camera at suminyas.
I smiled at the camera even tho masama ang loob ko sa parents ko. They are so freakin busy and forgotten about my graduation as if its very important kaya hindi na din makatawag at maipalam lamang?
I graduated high school as one of the valedictorians, after my speech na scripted my friends wanted to celebrate our success. Nag group photo muna kami and congratulate our batchmates, some of us can't help to hold back their tears at nagiyakan bago magpaalam sa isa't isa. Look how far weve become and what will pa sooner.
"2 years to go, college na tayo"
After the graduation ceremony we went to Ate Ion's bar, kaibigan sya ni kuya buti nalang maaga natapos ang ceremony kaya't sarado pa yung bar. Tinitigan ko ng mabuti ang bouquet of flowers na pinabili kuno nina daddy for me sabi ni kuya. No doubt sa kanila galing to, it was red rosses.. a bouquet of red rosses. Oh I hate this type of rosses. My parents didn't even know what I like and not geez! I acted happy in front of my kuya to show how I APRRICIATED LITTLE THINGS.
Dumating na isa isa ang mga kaibigan ko and we celebrated our success. We dance, we laugh, we cried happy tears and for a moment, I forgot how sad I was.
"HAPPY HIGHSCHOOL GRADUATION" sabay sabay naming itinaas ang hawak naming baso na ang laman ay juice while my kuya and his friends were holding differrent kind of alcohols. Because 16 pa lang kami pinagbawalan kami na uminom ng alcoholic drink kaya juice muna. Little did they know we once sneaked soju in my bedroom and they didnt suspected a thing.
"If di ko tinawagan si kuya mo, walang magsasabit ng medal mo" Pat said as we laugh. Why does he have to ruin things from me AGH but I let it slide, its not his fault after all.
Bumalik ang lungkot ko, my parents promised me na babalik sila sa business trip nila before graduation para maka attend sila. And then what? I haven't receive any calls and messages from them, its just this stupid red rosses ! Always nalang ganito, theyre always busy to earn money.
Our celebration ended nung nag open na yung bar, kahit na nagsasaya pa kami ay we needed to head out na kasi under age kami.
2months passed and almost tapos na ang vacation, My friends and I are on a group call talking about what strand should we get ngayon senior high. Hope things will end better for me.
I choose abm since business management ang kukuhanin kong course. I wanted to start a bussiness. Not big company like what my dad have, I mean isn't it cool to have a bakery and a coffee shop at the same time flowershop in just one place. But my dad wants me to take over bussiness, at first kay kuya dapat but they argue and kuya said he doesnt want that. HOW ABOUT ME? I also didnt like those type of work like all they do is arrange meetings, meet with the investors and sign papers so boring
