Mondas and the CyberReaper

Inside, me and Liv explore it cautiously, creeping around to the best of our ability. The lights are all off which gives the place an even eerier atmosphere, I'm having to use my sonic as a light and Liv does the same with her phone. As we continue to look around something makes Liv jump "godverdomme!" she exclaims "What?" I say back quickly a bit worried. "Look!" she says sharply to which I look at where she's pointing, a dead cyberman is on the floor but this one is fully dismembered, it's arms legs and head are all completely separated from the rest of its cybernetic body. I just look at it in disbelief and after a moment compose myself "What the hell did this?" I ask myself fearfully, Liv just keeps exploring since she can't bare to look at it any further. I catch up to her quickly and we carry on looking through the dead building, more of the cyber corpses litter the corridors we find ourselves walking through, filled with dread. After a while we find what seems to be a main control room and I somehow manage to get the power back on after fiddling with the controls a little, me and Liv find ourselves a little less scared now that the place is illuminated but this relief is short-lived...

All of a sudden one cyberman comes to life in a way, it's one arm and blood covered metallic body are a truly haunting sight. As this cyber puppet of sorts moves slowly towards us I'm forced to think, how the hell do we get out? and even if we do then what about this place in general, there's too much to unpack just for us to run away. Right, I compose myself and think of ways to stop a cyberman instead of just running away because it's time to stop being scared. Gold? I doubt this one is allergic to it and even if it was, we don't have any at the moment, so maybe a massive gun? again no such luck. Times running out as are options and as Liv finally shrieks "Doctor do something?!" I jump to action, in a split moment I do some critical thinking and hastily plug my sonic into the control panel. A piercing sound erupts from the panel and shrouds the room in ear-splitting noise, somehow SOMEHOW the sound manages to make the cybermans head explode and both me and Liv let out a massive sigh of relief. "That was a bloody close one" I remark to which Liv just nods as she lowers her hands from her ears, I then just get back to the control panel in an attempt to find some semblance of just what the hell happened here. Before long I'm able to access the databanks along with security camera footage and what I see makes my heart beat faster than I ever thought it could. The CyberReaper, clear as day, on that footage killing the cybermen residing in this what I can only assume is a cyberfactory. No doubt assimilating their various cybernetic components to make itself stronger.

This isn't how the CyberReaper works, I think to myself, it doesn't just take parts from cybermen in order to gain more strength nor does it kill them itself. Why is it acting like this? and what the hell does it want with what seems to be my timeline? After a moment of just being in pure shock Liv puts her tender hand on my shoulder to try and comfort me "So, I don't know what that thing is but it seems to be bad" she says softly "Yeah.." I merely reply still trying to work out stuff and process what I've just seen. "Ok um, we should probably get back to the TARDIS. Maybe there we can find out more about what it's doing and why." Liv just nods and we head back out of the room after I retrieve my sonic from the control panel. Suddenly lots of lightning jolts around the room all concentrating in one spot where I begin to see the outline of it appear and my eyes widen exponentially, without a seconds notice I take Liv by the hand and we quickly run out of the building as it begins to follow us. "Doctor is that what was on the footage?" she asks me as we run through the snowy landscape "Yeah it is and we need to get back to the TARDIS quick!" I say panting. As we get closer to the blue box the CyberReaper gets ever closer, hastily I put the key in and get inside with Liv. I then just pull down the flight lever trusting her to take us somewhere safe but something is wrong "Doctor!" Liv just says in horror as she points at the door, the CyberReaper somehow phasing through the seemingly impenetrable doors. I then quickly grab the small wooden hammer and begin to hit the console "oh sorry" I hit it again "really sorry!" I hit it two times more and thankfully she takes flight leaving the CyberReaper behind. Without a moments hesitation I dash to the door and scan it with the sonic, hoping to find out just how it managed to do that but the scanning was to no avail, "I thought nothing could get inside the TARDIS" Liv says rather scared "Neither did I" I say shakily.
