i set my pen down, as i ran a hand through my hair. i was stressed to say the least i took a deep sigh and closed my eyes.
"what's the matter?" kit asked, also setting his pen down, and studying my expressions "this long division is so annoying, i want to quit." i reply, resting my head on my palms.
kit chuckled, and propped his elbows up on the table. "you're so close to getting the answer, keep going." he said
i then got a bit of motivation from his words, and just continued doing whatever i could do. i nodded at kit, letting him know i finished and handed him my notebook.
he examined the book carefully, and his lips curved upwards. "see, you got it right, it just takes patience." he said, carefully closing the book he looks at me, a way that was a bit different than other looks he's given me and i couldn't pin point it. he was probably just out of it
kit's face turned a soft pink tint when i looked at him back. i take the notebook from his hands and softly giggle at how easy it is to make him blush. "thanks for believing me." i say
he looks away and then takes a hard gulp, he seemed a little hesitant today, and i felt like he was waiting to tell me something already.
"i need to tell you something." kit said softly knew it.
"what's up?" i ask, getting a little anxious of where this might lead to.
"i really don't want to ruin our friendship and i don't want to ruin how you view me, but i really like you." kit says quickly, huffing a sigh of relief.
i smiled brightly at how adorable his confession was. i grab his hand and intertwine it with mine over the wooden library table. "i like you too kit." i say confidently
his eyes widen a bit "well, i know we made it a little obvious but i wasn't so sure." he said stumbling over his words "so what now?" he asks
"we can do the corny couple stuff."
