"Janae!" My bestfriend Mariana yelled making my head snap up from my phone
"Girl who you talking too that got you smiling so hard?" She squinted pointing at my phone
"Mia" I said sending her a message causing her to roll her eyes. "What happened to 'I hate her' and 'I'm never texting her again'?" She asked mocking my voice making me roll my eyes.
Mia was what i guess you could say a rebound girlfriend. I met her at a party and from there we started talking.
After a while the relationship started to get toxic and here we are.
"Listen i know what i said, you don't have to remind me. Look if you just take me to this party I'll stop speaking to her okay?" I said turning my phone off making her cross her arms
"I guess so" she said making me smile; getting up from the couch I embraced her into a bear hug causing her to hug me back lots of giggles following behind
"Okay okay okayyy... we have to get ready, get up" she tapped my back before i sat up
"Yo ass better be ready by the time i get here or else you not going to this party"she said gathering all her things
"Yes massa" I said before we shared a small laugh
Walking her to her car I pecked her cheek before watching her drive off letting out a sigh.
