Charlie's POV
Adam says "no, well maybe but right now I don't want to" and I mumble "me either" against his shoulder. He kisses me mumbling "just us and this room then, huh?" I mumble "yeah" smiling and he pecks my lips. I say "are the varsity boys mean to you?" He says "no, they're just being teenage boys, they aren't softies like you" making me smile and roll my eyes. He mumbles "baby, don't worry about it" against my neck as he kisses my neck. I mumble "Adam" moaning quietly as he bites softly. He smirks and keeps going. I bite my lip saying "I worry about you, tell me if something happens, ok?" He nods, kissing softly, his hot breath fanning over my neck. I grip his hair in my fist gently as he kisses my neck. I look over at the alarm clock on our shared bedside table and there's ten minutes left till our next class. I mumble "ten minutes and we have to walk across campus" as he grips the hem of my shirt. He sighs and kisses my lips, long and soft, and he mumbles "now we can go." I chuckle saying "ok" him fixing his hair and I smile, us walking to math. When we walk in, a bunch of the varsity hockey boys are in the same class. Rick Riley says "Banks! Come sit" and Adam looks at me just lost and I mumble "just go, if you get bored come say hi" smirking and he makes prayer hands at me. He mumbles "love when you do the hard work for me." Adam meaning that I made a decision for him also known as the hard work. I chuckle saying "ok" smiling, rolling my eyes, and I sit in front of Adam after thinking about where to sit. I see him smile a bit making me smile. The teacher walks in and I mumble "here we go" making Adam giggle and the teacher hands out a packet of math problems. The teacher says "find partners to work on the packet with during class, its due tomorrow." Adam taps my shoulder and I nod. This'll give us something to do tonight. When she stops talking, I turn my chair around, and I pull my chair up to his desk. Adam smiles saying "hi" and Rick says "are you seriously being partners with him?" Adam says "yeah, problem?" Rick says "varsity doesn't associate with JV" and Adam says "you need me more than they do, always remember that" looking at him. Rick says "that means?" Adam says "that means, I do whatever I want and you shut up" jokingly even though I know he's not joking, he just hates confrontation. I look at the first page saying "how do I do this?" I look at Adam and he starts writing, mumbling "just like this, baby" then starts explaining more in depth once he finishes the problem. I sigh mumbling "Adam" and he looks at me saying "hm?" I say "this is going to take years" and he says "no it won't, you have me" and everyones just looking at each other cluelessly and Rick says "Banks, do you know how to do this?" He says "yeah?" Rick says "could you help me?" Adam says "do it yourself, you can figure it out. Its not that hard" and I mumble "I'm just too pretty to do math" making Adam chuckle. He says "yes, you are" and we work through the first few pages then the bell rings. I quietly say "I'll see you after practice?" He nods saying "I'm so tired already, I might nap during my study hall" and I mumble "I have english" and he says "ew." I chuckle saying "I'm good at english, so it shouldn't be too bad" quietly and we finish our goodbyes then we go our separate way. I sit through English and I run into Adam as I'm on my way to practice. Like I physically run into him. We chuckle and I say "wanna get food later?" Adam says "since we're not going to be at dinner, sure. Want to ask the guys?" I say "I can do that" nodding and he smiles saying "I'm going to take a nap, I'll see you later?" I say "set an alarm cause you won't wake up without it." Adam says "ouch!" I say "it's true, Banks" looking into his pale blue eyes then walking to the locker room. I hear a "friend of the traitor is here." I say "he's my roommate for godsake, guys!" "The guy really lives up to his name. Cake eater." I roll my eyes saying "we can win without Banks in the varsity versus JV game" rolling my eyes. Kenny says "are you sure?" I say "yes" and Fulton says "but can we win against Banks and guys double my size?" I say "I have faith" shaking my head and we go out to the rink for practice. Coach Orion comes out onto the rink and says "I heard there was a fight between one of you and the varsity team captain today." He looks right at me and I say "I didn't do anything! What did I do? Do enlighten me" crossing my arms. Coach Orion says "how about you tell the team yourself" crossing his arms. Luis says "I thought you were the good boy, Conway" and I say "you really think I would've started anything with Rick Riley? I'm half his size and I'm not stupid like Fulton!" Fulton says "he has a point" nodding and Luis says "Adam did this, didn't he then he blamed you" and I say "do you know how absolutely bonkers you sound right now?!" I hear swift walking with skates on then someone skates over saying "I'm not a coward" to Coach Orion. Orion looks at him weirdly saying "ok?" That someone is Adam. Connie says "we don't wish to hear it from you, Banks" and Luis says "what the hell are you doing?" Adam says "I'm pissed now, you aren't a single thing to me right now" glaring at the whole team. Adam says "Charlie didn't do anything, I was there" crossing his arms. Adam boredly skates around saying "Rick Riley was saying approximately twenty minutes ago that it would be funny to get Charlie kicked off the team, so he told you that Charlie punched him which you would know is highly unlikely if you actually knew Charlie." Coach Orion says "strike one" looking at me and Adam winks at me and leaves. I sigh, shaking my head, and Coach Orion start practice.
