(.VII.) Time of death

Kira, Scott, Amy, stiles and Liam all gathered around in Scott's kitchen, to discuss their new plan.

"Is four enough?" Kira asked.

"Depends on how many cameras they have. But I think so." Stiles answered.

"Are we really doing this?" Liam asked.

"We're doing it. Tonight." Scott replied.

"But isn't it kind of dangerous."

"It's incredibly dangerous and borderline idiotic." Amy answered, the boy.

"Have you guys done something like this before?"

"Something dangerous? Or something idiotic?"

"I think it's a yes to both." Kira answered.

"You don't have to be part of it if you don't want to." Scott told the younger boy.

"I'm not scared."

"Then your borderline idiotic." Stiles told the boy, putting his hand on his shoulder then winked. "If we do this, we don't know what's coming for us. You know that, right?"

"How do we even know something's definitely coming?" Kira asked.

"Because the tape from Garrett's bag said visual confirmation required." Scott explained.

"Simon said the same thing." Stiles added. "He couldn't get paid by the banefactor until he had proof that you guys were dead."

"So the idea is, what if you kill someone on the dead pool, but you can't send proof?" Scott also asked.

"You don't get paid." Kira answered.

"How does that get us any closer to the benefactor?" Liam asked.

"He still needs to know if the target is really dead." Scott began.

"Especially if it's someone high on the list." Stiles finished.

"So, if he wants visual confirmation..." Liam asked.

"He's going to have to come get it himself."

Kira, Liam, amy and with the help of Kira's, and Amy's mom were about to set this plan into motion. Scott lied on his bed while the other four gathered around him.

"Are you guys totally sure about this?" Liam asked again.

"I think Liam's kind of nervous." Kira said. "I think maybe you should tell him it's going to be all right." She suggested glancing at Amy.

"It's gonna be alright, we've done plenty of stupid shit, and most of us made it out alive." Amy told Liam with a smile.

"But you've done this before, right?" He asked noshiko and Natalie.

"I've seen it done." Noshiko answered.

"I had it done on me." Natalie answered.

"Is that just as good?" Liam asked both parents

"No." The responded together

"Mom, you're not inspiring confidence." Kira said staring at her mother.

"Good. This is a terrible idea."

"Do you want us to do it without you?"

After a while of silence Kira's mother put her hand on Scott's head then directed Kira to put her hand on his heart.

"Hold on." Scott said grabbing Kira's hand. "What happens while I'm out? Am I gonna feel anything?"

"It might feel like you're dreaming." Natalie explained.
