A tortiseshell she pounced from one crate to the other, looking over to her leader, Jinx. Jubilee was staring at her. Everflame could feel her awkward stare from 5 fox lengths away. "Y-You have something near your mouth..."
Jubilee muttered as she cut off her stare and shuffled away uncomfortably. Everflame glances into a small puddle of water. Blood had still stained her lips. 'Oh. I forgot Jubilee's jumpy around blood' She pondered.
With an unsheathed claw she smeared the blood off and onto a small leaf. The moment she looked up, she could sense fear building in her eyes. Jinx snarled at her, coming right to her face. Everflame shrunk back like a scared kitten.
"You are of age. Last night Mightypaw didn't give you your trophy after you fought like a true warrior against those dogs. Take this as your trophy and don't take it off." Jinx dropped a lilac toned collar staged with dog teeth.
Everflame stared at the collar. It wasn't new, but at least it was an honour. The collar was Jinx's first collar handed down to him, and now it was with the teeth of the dog from her last fight. Plus her first trophy.
Everflame smirked, and squeezed through the collar, fitting snuggly on top of her fur. She smudged the blood that was wiped off back onto her white face, her topaz eyes glowing with pride.
