Jihoon arrived at around 10. Junkyu's classes ended near the afternoon. He returned a little after 6. Since then, he had been waiting for his boyfriend, Park Jihoon. He finished his studies, played some mobile games, even did some cleaning. But the waiting was torture. Specially when the house is shared only by these two people.

Junkyu moved out with Jihoon at the begining of the year. Since then, Jihoon has been working non stop. To pay the rent, bills and also Junkyu's educational expenses. Jihoon himself was a dropout, barely getting by. Now with Junkyu, even working two jobs didn't seem to be enough.

And that's where Junkyu was trying to help.

"Hey." Jihoon dryly spoke. Junkyu stood across from him. He could clearly see the stress in Jihoon's eyes.

"How was work?" He asked, taking the bag from Jihoon's hand.

"It was fine." Jihoon said with a sigh, "Same old. Boring."

Junkyu nodded. He kept the bag at place, watched Jihoon take off his worn out clothes and go for a shower. Junkyu walked to the kitchen. He didn't know how to cook, but with the help of certain recipes and some YouTube videos, he managed to cook something- fortunately edible. He was happy inside. Because Jihoon would cook otherwise, even after being that exhausted.

"Kyu, where-" Jihoon with a towel in his hand stopped at his track. He stared at the table, decorated with food.

"Did you cook these?"

Junkyu beamed with happiness, "Yes."

"Why?" Jihoon didn't look as happy as him. This kinda discouraged Junkyu.

"So that we can eat." He answered like it was obvious.

"No, I mean, how?" Jihoon stepped in front of the table, checked the smell of one of the dishes. "You don't know how to cook."

Junkyu smiled yet again, "I learned from YouTube."

Jihoon sighed, "You didn't have to. I told you, you should study hard so that-"

"Jihoon, you're not appreciating it." Junkyu said, a bit confused and a lot hurt. "Doing it won't affect my academics."

Jihoon stared deep in his eyes, then with a cold tone, he said, "Don't do it again."

Something in Junkyu flipped. He anticipated Jihoon's reaction, wanted his feedback. He wanted Jihoon to see that he was being useful too.

"I just wanted to help." Junkyu whispered, eyes fixated on the ground. He could sense his dam loosen. Before he could break down completely, he stormed away from that room, from in front of Jihoon.

Junkyu barely held himself from crying. With deep sighs and self consolation, when he was about to collect himself, Jihoon appeared. He leaned at the doorframe, his arms crossed over his chest.

Junkyu sensed him, hence looked behind. Jihoon's presence bothered him, because his expression was still as grim as before. Junkyu decided to leave the room. Jihoon stopped him midway. "Look, I didn't wanna hurt you."

Junkyu made a brief eye contact with Jihoon. No. Jihoon wasn't sorry.

"Before you go," Jihoon stopped him again, "The food tastes good."

Junkyu stopped to study Jihoon's face. It was just as cold. He probably didn't mean what he said. However, Junkyu smiled.

"Thanks."
